hope he doesn’t use “we got 17 players hurtin in there” next time.

Teddy should have walked the team after he was refused the option of contesting the call.

Shades of Gould v Kelvin Jeffs in tonight’s game.

I really enjoyed watching us have a go. Was one of our best games this year.

Good effort by the boys, thought our bench was strong for the most part

Watson had his best game in a while and Egan Butcher after a poor miss on Kikau came good and offers something different playing 13….his 5/8 background was on display last night

Hutch has a good kicking game but we look so much better with Verrills in the 9

Delighted with the performance last night, certainly a cause for optimism. However I can't help but think, imagine it we played with that resolve and discipline against Newcastle, dogs, dragons to name a few. We'd be 10 wins and 6 losses and looking in pretty good shape. We're all devastated by yet another biased refereeing performance that likely cost us 2 competition points, but the reality is @ Penrith is a pencilled in loss that we should have been able to afford if we had taken care of business against inferior oppositions.

many of us would have taken a 4 try to 3 loss before the whistle was blown and when you think that if the whistle had been blown more fairly we would have won you've got to be very proud

How good was Egan in that second half? Geez I hope he kicks on cause he could be anything. What about that short pass to SST?

Amazing defence on the line. If it hadn't been for the two back-breaking, unjustified penalties that led two Penrith tries, it could've been a great win. I think they won a lot of neutral admirers last night. As it stands, they should be proud of their performance and the ref should be ashamed of his!

Sportsbet have the bye into $1.85 on the back of Sutton's appointment

Watson was terrific around the middle with his ball playing lock role which is the one that we got him back from the knights for.
It's been unfortunate due to injuries that we've had to stick him at dummy half which isn't his forte, im looking forward to seeing more of him in that Dylan Walker capacity.
Verrills was sharp coming on and Egan is a real footy player who given extended minutes can give us variety in the forwards that we have been lacking.
Great games from all 3 that you mentioned.

I haven't been as excited about him as some on here but last night was a sit-up and take notice game.

He showed class and confidence against quality opposition...very impressive.
