I'd love to send anasta to the Greek 3rd division but we all know that's not going to happen unfortunately.
At the end of the day Carney is in our team, Smith is not going to listen to anyone on here & who would blame him about replacing Carney.
Why dont you give the guy a go or are you just another sheep. There is no real valid reason why Carney cops so much stick here on the Chookpen. He is short big deal. Everyone in the team made a mistake last week against the Raiders & every other week. I can tell you now Tagive does not hit like Carney & Moga would get a start before him also. Tagive will be lucky to play 5 FG games.

Mose needs some testosterone, Hargreaves Style

Mickey, tagive has pace & size. Something we are severely lacking in our backline. Carney is just a battering ram, nothing more. Unfortunately, we need something more than just that. His defense is also very suspect - hes had to count on anasta saving his butt several times after he has missed the opposing centre in defense in our 20

With such a young team stability is crucial to gain experience and confidence. You blokes screaming for changes really have NFI.
You'd chop and change every week based on form with this young side? Geesus, thank fark you're not in charge.
We are stuck with dead wood this year I know, but I prefer to hopefully see some good combinations develop. I said last year 2012 will be a building year for a 2013 crack at the title, what I've seen thus far has not changed my mind.
Chook.

Chook.
The main problem we will face, is if a team puts 20 points on us, we don't have 22 in us. We will get toweled this weekend.

im still confident for the 2012 season.
is stead of the mass changes approach, i think its a role to play by a few players that need a change to suit their current availability of skill.
mini should not be the guy that recieves the inside ball: he is a light weight, and he speculates when he passes, instead of passing or running hard (at gaps not forwards)soloution is to let him be safe at the back and have an occasional scoot.
Arona. why is he continually between the dummy half and our first reciever. he is not a ruck player nor does he have the weight to acually threaten the defence. jake, pearcey, braith, mitchell morts and even maubs should be there . but arona doesnt roll over in tackles and does use good leg drives when being tackled.
bj needs to look for the ball as braith wont go that side nor pass to him, unless its a medicine ball. bj will be a better player with morts at the helm as morts draws and passes and plays accross the field distrupting the defencive line.
braith ohhhh braith .keep with the spiral bombs on the 5th and advise where it is going so we can set an attacking raid. he is not our 5/8. braith needs to be aware of it or 'yes ' he will be a spoilt brat ALA todd. he does definatly have leadership skills on the field and is capable of lifting the team to the next level in the dying end of a game.
mose and tasi are bonding well and will be a bloody huge wall.
justin knows he is playing for an extension(contact) he hits the defence harder than some of our forwards. smith sets a narrow defence line which keeps getting justin exposed. compreede defence is good but the wing and outer centre need to be able to turn and chase. neither are capable
bring on mitchell and mort asap. they provide excitement and more than dummy scoot, dummy scoot one pass of the ruck 5/8 or 1/2 run and set for the fifth. yawn
i wonder if smithy is still rooting carneys mum1911 1912 1913 1923 1935 1936 1937 1940 1945 1974 1975 2002 2013 2018 2019 2020
