Yes the Ref had an impact on the result, where did I say he didn't?
We had a bigger impact than the Ref.
At the end of the day, Penrith have a full team, they were better than us, just my opinion.

They were not better than us tonight. They are better overall but not tonight. They were given that win. End of story.

Trent is an absolute champion, called it how it is, what is most obvious...no bickies in our colours.

I have always refrained from blaming the ref for a loss, but after this match, I'm so disappointed for our boys.

Why bother playing the game, if the decisions are geared at one side?

Not only us, the debacle across the board.

As always he tried to make his point calmly. So no notice will be taken and sour grapes will be the call by everyone else.

There are about 5 other coaches who wouldn’t have been as restrained in the same situation.

Even Gould and Corey Parker said it was farked and neither of those dudes love us!. Graham Anusilly will say nothing to see here.. move on. Dally M points 1 - Tedesco, 2 -SST, 3 Gerard Sutton.

I'm still rather cross at Sutton at the moment, I feel I am channeling Ricky Stuart.

agreed, but he was told that robbo had complained about the ref and asked if he thought that penrith got a couple of lucky calls and he said no. no one would say that the verrills penalty call was right

It is wrong that we need to be so perfect and mistake free to win a game. Quite simply refereeing errors and inconsistency in refereeing only one side to skew the playing field to make it so hard for a side to win is a blight the referee. As Robbo said "in our colours we are given nothing". He knows it , we know it....the question is why is it allowed to repeatedly happen? Think back to JWH penalty a few weeks back...Jwh to Sutton, you take every f..ing opportunity to penalise me. It's not right!

I know promiscuity is frowned upon in polite circles but could be stop being screwed by Gerard Sutton for a while?

Robbo and the players have had a gutful of it, he wouldn't raise the issue for a long time when we had a team that was good enough to overcome it but now it's costing us wins you can see the frustration boiling over.
V'landys has accentuated the bias in refereeing with his 6 agains and one referee controlling the game.
I have said it before its not just the ones you get pinged for because they can justify them in some cases but the ones you dont get that aren't obvious that hurt.
The calling out of players in defence so the opposition can gain extra metres in attack. The leg pulls and hand on the balls in the ruck that aren't policed. The calling out of markers so they can't put pressure on the kicker.
I like many here use to watch every game but as soon as I start seeing these little anomalies in non rooster matches I tend to switch off.
I don't like the person I become watching roosters games when Klein, Cummins or Sutton have the whistle in our fixtures. Yelling and screaming obscenities at the TV and lurching for a bottle of vodka like a darlo derro.
The poor wife thinks I'm going to have a heart attack one day from the angst.
I was raised to never believe everything is fair in life but it grinds my gears when you know you're not going to get a fair crack of the whip by people in positions that are supposed to be neutral.
I was texting another roosters tragic during the game and as soon as we hit the front I mentioned that Sutton would start with his rubbish to help the panthers back in it, it's become predictable and commonplace.

Robbo on different treatment, getting penalties etc:

"You can call Yeo. You can call Cleary. But if you don't penalise, you end up with 28% possession. It wasn't a good enough performance tonight....

"Obviously there were issues there with our team but not the other team....It's not going to happen in Roosters colours. It's not bias, it's just a fact."

For those here who criticise Chookpen members who think the Roosters are treated differently by some refs, note that Trent Robinson does not agree with you. He had to say "it's not bias" or he would be fined, but the implication is clear that he believes there is something rotten. What other explanation for the "fact" of this differential treatment is there?
