Has anyone heard this as well ? I just want to check and confirm. In reality, not a big or major loss but obviously it's freeing up a top 30 spot.
Kevin's returning to ESL at years end - 2 year deal with ??

Yeah he's provided some good footy for Easts and the Bears? Not odd at all IMO.

He's not 'gone' (he's serving out his contract) and could still be very useful with Smith out (although Keary's return + Manu in the centres woulda led to either Smith or Momirovski being punted anyway, so the injury may not have such a big impact on our depth).

Alarmed I was when I switched on my tv yesterday morning to see footage of Teddy, Toops, and Gus walking along a line of Origin fans, signing autographs and posing for selfies, head to head, face to face, breath to breath.
Channel 9 asking "Should football codes return to the bubble".

We should all be alarmist and ensure that the players don't mix with the public, just in case the players could get covid.
I pay good money to go to football games - one of the highlights for me is to get an autograph, and interact with the players.
But we should ban all that, and go back to the past where there were no fans, just cardboard cutouts in the stands..
That way, the NRL can lose millions of $ in revenue.
To be extra safe, channel 9 and the Government should all ensure we live in a bubble again, and while we are at it, enforce a lockdown where everyone is forced to stay at home indoors , with no life.
That would be wonderful, and at least we know the players are safe......
