On Sonny Bill I would take a punt om him, surely we have to sign 1 good dog.
I reckon Inglis, although a fat McDonalds cheesburger thief, is a far better player than SBWalkout ever was and they still have nothing to show for it at lol@souffs. I dont believe he will stay at the back either but it would be interresting to see him a longer run at it.

I can see your point about the law of averages but the dollars being demanded are no way worth 'a risk'.

Do not equate my vocal distain for Mr. Williams as anything approaching "methinks the lady doest protest too much", I legitimately dislike Sonny Bill Williams and think whatever his supposed prowess he will be a toxic influence on this club. Especially if we lose a fan favorite like Jared Waerea-Hargreaves to afford him.

He may have had his reasons, but if you are in a team you owe it to your team mates at the very least . It may sound a little old fashioned, but heck I'm kind of old fashioned myself.
Thats half of my beef as well OMR. What was done was unforgivable in a tream environment and I would love to see the reactions from some of the pro SBW lovers on here if it was us in the same position 4 years ago. Also, not just to the Dogs, but he showed zero respect to our great game by his actions. I cannot forgive that.

Couldn't be any worse than the club throwing money away resigning Symonds.

got to anaesthetise M Ennis for a knee operation. A well mannered, funny guy. The surgeon told him I was a one eyed roosters fan and jokingly told me in front of him to behave myself and not try and knock him off....

Have anaesthetised quite a few of the bulldogs, sharks and dragons players. Toups a couple of times - said he really, really wanted to stay at Easts but that was the year Nick bought Mason and O'Meley, so he was forced to sharks as no money left for him.

A mate of mine gassed Mason. Said he needed 3 times the normal amount of anaesthetic to get him down...

That's twice you've used that line mate.

Rnd 1 we beat Souffs 24-20.

And why not to $BW. Personally I don't really care either way but he's a quality player and we aren't exactly stacked with them. We have a lot of Bros in the side and I bet they'd all lift to play with the bloke. In fact I reckon JWH would be more likely to stay if he knew $BW was coming.

                        Exactly my thoughts too.
More than half of the NRL clubs would have him. The guy is a supreme & talented athlete who attracts bums on seats and will most probably help to attract other quality players to our club just to play alongside him.

Hey P1, was it you who did the anaesthetic for Mickey Weyman in 2010?

Hardly. How the hell are we going to afford any other 'quality' players on the coin it would take to get that over priced dollar pincher to the club?

Spot on Ralph! The other 'quality players' will have to sit in the grandstands as spectators like the rest of us peasants if the cap burglar comes to our club.

There is only 1 cap burglar at this club and he is again wearing NO 6 SBW if he comes here will have a go and is potentially a match winner for us

The only thing that concerns me about him coming is the length of time he has spent away from Rugby League 4.5 years is a long time to be out of any sport
