Certainly didn't expect such a strong result for SBW. I personally voted yes. It is the voice of the few on this forum that speak for the many methinks.

Fair warning, only click on that if you want to.

What Sonny Bill Williams will do the Roosters and how I will react to it

And to clarify, that's happened to me...in my youth.

Fair enough but I think money offers a better indication than deciding if you want Sonny with or without his entourage. That said, I was not expecting almost 70% of people to have the same opinion as I on this matter.

I like you expected a 50 / 50 based on this poll, with closer to the 70-75% mark wanting him if the price was lower.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. When will we learn?

I supported Mason and O'meley coming, I won't make the same mistake again. How does it feel to see players like Tamou and Shillington run around? When will we stop the bleeding? Besides 2010 we have been a disgrace for the last 7 years looking for these short term fixes.

Our great period of 00-04 was built around bringing in the best young kids in and backing them. I have no problem signing players but we should be looking at young kids with upside. There are so many good back rowers we could buy.

If we sign SBW it will just be the same old cycle. This year JWH might leave and the following year it might be Cordner and we will be back to square one.

My aptly named fellow poster (loyalty and intelligence being Craig's watch words) illustrates perfectly my concern, anger and frustration. Which has been doubled by learning we had James Tamou at the club as a junior.

Not sure how many of you have seen this. (Sorry if someone has posted this already) But looks like we have definitely signed SBW according to Ryles...

                Ryles cock-a-hoop at Storm move

“I had a meeting with Smithy at the end of the year and read between the lines a little bit… but there are no hard feelings,” he told NRL.com.

“At the end of the day it was all about keeping the young guys and I totally understand that. It is just a business these days and if you take anything like that to heart you’re probably playing the wrong game. It’s just how it is. They needed to free up some cash for some young guys and obviously to sign the two guys that they’ve already signed for next year (James Maloney and, unofficially, Sonny Bill Williams).

                    I thought there was a 3rd signing?

I can't believe some of the fools on this forum actually want us to sign Morley. Absolutely ridiculous.

That's because you aren't very smart.

                            Chook.

I also agree with $BW bringing points.

Fact remains we have already debunked your theory.

Indeed so far we have debunked his theory I made the comments to him about lack of points being a concer Therfor any challenge we attempt to make this year our defence must be the cornerstone of it due to lack of points issue Whcih so far has been a fair call Our resident genius Fred68 then replied even if ourr defence is outsanding in this day and age we will be lucky to keep sides to under 20 points Early days yet but so far so good on that one

You come up with some comments thatt are very strange and bordering on contradictory On the one hand you say you have accepted our fate for the season and we ill not make the 8 Yet here you say you think we will keep most teams to under 20 points Personally i feel if we do that we will make the 8 because I am pretty sure if you keep the opposition to under 20 points a game over the course of the season You will win more games than you lose
