The likes of Yeo, Murray, Carrigan and Tino are ahead of him and I've been disappointed in him with his game this year. He has far too many errors in him at the moment.

I agree. The rules are very grey. Why do some Islanders represent two countries?
If you play for another tier 1 nation other than Australia you can't play SOO.
SOO is no longer considered a selection trial so to speak for the Australian National side so if this is the case then any player should be eligible to play SOO for what ever state they qualify for irrespective of if they have played for a tier 1 nation other than Australia as they can play SOO if they play International Footy for a Tier 2 nation.
I think they have the Father/Mother/Grandparents rule or eligibility - in the years to come though that will be an issue for these pacific island sides as the Grandparents and Parents could well be both born in Australia - will they change it to a great Grandparents and Great Great Grandparents rule?Last edited by King Salvo; 07-17-2022, 04:22 PM.

I smothered my kale and spinach pasta for the week with creamy cheese sauce..happy now? Victor's going have a blast in the English side..he can tell them all about winning trophies..but the beers, beers and more beers will be hot, hot, hot over there..."Those who care about you can hear you, even when you are quiet" - Steve Maraboli

Have to disagree. They're already saying he's what we missed for NSW this year. He's returning from multiple injuries and been out for long periods the last 2 seasons If he remains injury free, in 12 months time he'll be in the top 10 players in the game, and a lock for both origin and the Australian side. No way in the world is he playing for England because he thinks he'll never make the Australia side.EASTS TO WIN!

At least when the chooks fake an injury we do it in style and in the spirit of the game...Last edited by Bondicigar; 07-17-2022, 04:43 PM.

If it were me and I had a chance to play in a world cup or wait indefinitely for a spot with my state, I'd take the world cup.
