    If we keep winning we make the top 8. Maybe even top 4.

    It's in our hands. The moment we start focusing on other teams losing its over anyway.

    This ftr is how I see our remaining games unfolding...

      There are a couple teams on the same points as us with pretty easy runs home.

        For and against could play a big role in the 8 look at the Raiders run if they can put a few scores on a few teams they are great value at $3.75.

          It's not beyond the realms if we stay healthy here on in. We are due for a run.

            Raiders beating Storm didn’t help us.

            Our H2H with souths might be the decider - imagine the high/ lows of that.

              I said about 4 weeks ago that I think it will come down to rd 25 to see if Easts or Souths make the 8.

                    We are turning into the breakfast club around here. What with all the talk of bread in the other thread and Victor drinking English tea...

                      I think they make it and we will be playing for 8th spot over either Manly or most likely Raiders.

                        I’m not sure they will. Well, I’m hoping they don’t because we all know what happens when they get a sniff.

                          The Roosters will need results to go their way in other matches as well as winning their required matches.

                          * Matches to be played in round 19 - Souths vs Storm and Raiders vs Warriors

                          Broncos as below have more than likely wrapped up a finals place as should finish on 30 points at least.

                          Dragons back in the mix -their last game vs Broncos a 50-50 game - depends if they are still a chance to make the 8 by that stage - points for games (highlighted) the teams should win added to their current points tally

                          * Raiders have the best draw - 4 games they should win and 3 50-50 games (Dragons game now 50-50 ) - * Storm 2 and 5 / Manly and Dragons 2 and 4 / * Souths 1 and 6 / Roosters and Eels 1 and 5

                          Broncos - 26 - Wests Tigers/Roosters/Knights/Storm/Eels/Dragons - 30 points - 4 50-50 games

                          * Storm - 24 - Souths/Warriors/Titans/ Panthers/Broncos/Roosters/Eels - 28 points - 5 - 50-50 games
                          Eels - 24 - Panthers/Sea Eagles/Rabbitohs/Bulldogs/Broncos/Storm - 26 points - 5- 50-50 games

                          * Souths - 22 - Storm/Sharks/Warriors/Eels/Panthers/Cows/Roosters - 24 points - 6- 50-50 games
                          Roosters -20- Sea Eagles/Broncos/Cows/Tigers/Storm/Rabbitohs - 22 points with 5- 50-50 games
                          Manly- 20 - Roosters/Eels/Titans/Sharks/Raiders/Bulldogs - 24 points - 4 -50-50 games
                          Dragons - 20 - Cowboys/Sharks/Raiders/Titans/Tigers/Broncos - 24 points with 4 50-50 games
                          * Raiders 18 - Warriors / Titans/Panthers/Dragons/Knights/Sea Eagles/Wests Tigers - 26 points with 3 -50-50 games

                            So based on your numbers we just need to keep winning.

                            Geez the dropped games in r1 vs the knaughts, ANZAC day, the dogs and faiders are still hurting. Had we won those we would be locking in a top four spot. If we had victories against Melb and the Riff (which we were in) we would be looking at a top 2 finish.

                            I hope we have turned a corner now. Robbo did say the other day that we are training faster.

                            Any team that comes up against us in the finals won't be confident

                              Yes no other choice but to keep winning and the current top 4 help the Chooks out by beating the other contenders when they play them except the Chooks that is ( Broncos/Cows).

                                If we win all our remaining games, we'll make it no problem. There is no side around our spot on the ladder who will win all their remaining games. There are a lot of top 8 clashes coming at the back end of the season. I have a feeling the cut-off might be 30 points. The good news is the Raiders, Dragons and Manly etc aren't going to pull back our for and against lead.

                                Also just wanted to mention, I found some interesting things on the NRL site regarding stats.
                                We currently have the third best Points For in the comp, behind the Panthers and Storm (although the Bunnies and Cowboys will overtake us by the end of the week).
                                We also have the second shorted losing margin of 9.3, behind the Panthers of 2.
                                We also have the third highest winning margin of 18.1, behind the Storm, Cowboys and Panthers.
