Bit overrated putting players in a different position to learn the nrl game as some kind of apprenticeship.

Your don't put an apprentice carpenter into an office role you have them on the tools from the get go as that is where they will learn the trade under the guidance of a qualified tradie.

Keary isn't a half and has always been a 5/8 as look at his career and who has been the halves he has played with- Reynolds/Pearce/Cronk/Flanno( 1 season) and also a bit late in his career to turn him into a halfback as well.

Whether this change is too late the next 7 games will tell - the problem of unlocking the attack which was mentioned quite often post game should have meant this change was made earlier than this week.

Keary will need a couple of weeks to build up match fitness and his latest head knock will have undoubtedly made him gun shy. At least he’s back where he plays best.

with sam wearing the number 7 for the last few games it's not such a big change as if one week keary was wearing 7 and next week wearing 6. but they're just numbers on their backs - will be interesting to see what happens on the field, particularly when you think that teddy and joey will often be playing first or second receiver

Robbo was saying that Collins was given time off after SOO to be with family in Queensland and he was not expected back to training to this week

I understand that he only commenced the 6 stage graduated return to sport program under supervision on Monday and with each stage 24 hours minimum duration he would not complete the program in time to be assessed as fit to return to playing in time for Friday's game.

I’ve been saying this for weeks, I love Robbo but this strategy of giving players extra rest when our season is on the line is mind boggling..

We are the only Club that does it!

I am happy to see Kez back at 5/8, I think it was a mistake to move him in the first place.
Having Collins sit out when there is nothing wrong with him is political correctness gone mad.
I am sure we have enough fire power to get past the Knights.

Im actually worried about Keary, its only a matter of time.
I know he's won 3 comps & has played 1st grade for nearly 10 years but I just feel he's now not big enough for the 2022 NRL, I think you have to have the 100kg mobile fast 5/8 & a halfback thats around 90kg's which Sam Walker will get too.
Keary is still a top player dont get me wrong but I think his best footy has been played.
