Good luck to him.
But are they likely to get promoted given they are top of the table? Hence the acquisition of an Aussie halfback.

Does anyone know what became of him? When you trust your television
what you get is what you got
Cause when they own the information
they can bend it all they want

Yeah I didnt know that but now you have said it they must be going to be promoted because like you said NSW Cup would be a higher standard then second division in England so why would he do that.

WAIT A SECOND LADIES & GENTLEMEN !!!
Blake Ferguson is currently signed and playing for Leigh (until the end of this year). There are reports of Lam being released as 'early as next week' to link up with his Dad in the UK (Leigh, where his Dad (Adrian Lam) is the coach and Ferguo is currently playing).
Could there be a quiet/under the table "swap deal" where we get Ferguo back and Lam heads over to the UK ?
Keary playing in the halves is a risk now as we all know ... he's potentially "one knock" away from retirement (not even joking here) so what if the Roosters are looking at a quick outside back signing to fill in for the remainder of the year ? Manu is the obvious person to shift into 5/8. We've lost Billy Smith and Kevin Naiqama is barely reserve grade level so we need someone 'decent' who will be "cheap" and can play in any position in the back line as required (centre or wing).
For the remainder of 2022, signing Ferguo would be approx less than $100k from a NRL contract point of view.
