Our outside back options are very limited at the moment and if Lam leaves as early as next week, that means we will still have numbers to fill in our 30 man squad.
A lot has changed since then and a lot has changed since last week !Last edited by DP1990; 07-22-2022, 01:28 AM.

Great clubman and will always be a Rooster at heart.
Was a shandy off numerous starts this year but a better injury run didn't present more opportunities. His form has been very good, culminating in that outstanding gig with PNG in rep round.
Love a half with quick feet, his other attribute is that he's a smart player, knows the game well. The downside I think is he just lacked that cheeky half confidence in firsts, was too respectful of his team mates rather than grab the game by the scruff himself.
The biggest rap I can give him though is how he stuck solid with the boys when not getting a run. And always doing the job Robbo asked him playing anywhere out of position incl two he'd never played before hooker and centre.
My dream halves combo for Easts was the Lam Keary combo (with rice). Two big wins as they were learning the combos then both struck injuries in Rnd 3 game...what might have been.
Wish Lachie well and will only improve with some overseas experience under the belt. Ala Jacko Hastings. Doubt if we've seen the last of him in the NRL.#We Stand with ourJewish community#

Just watching Lachie playing against Featherstone Rovers ...as i type the score is 40-16 to Leigh with Fergie scoring a couple and setting up one or two and Lachie just subbed the halfback who busted a finger and has got stuck straight in

he is an NRL player who i thought always played his best at hooker and around the ruck.
It still baffles me that Connor Watson was used in this role for majority of the season, when it was clear to *almost everyone that he was suited for a running role.
