The Roosters should only re-sign Lodge if they want to make metres up the middle, bend the opposition defensive line, bring our fast players into the game off momentum and fast play the balls, and if the Roosters want to win football games, win Semi finals and have the chance of winning a premiership.

The Roosters should not sign Lodge if they want to lose games like they did before they signed him, and want to become a pathetic rabble in the middle of the field, exactly the way they played before he was signed.

I understand the concerns some have with Lodge but the Roosters are real good at turfing those who are dickheads and have the potential to be a problem for team harmony- Paul Carter, Anthony Watts, Todd Carney. On the flip side club is good at rehabilitating players with issues- Jake Friend and Blake Ferguson. If Matt Lodge as a person doesn't fit in to the team then im sure he will be at a different club in 2023-but thus far he is saying and doing the right things.

Lodge cant ask for a better role model than JWH- family man, ZERO ego,gives 100%, always puts the team first..

Lodge as a footballer ticks a lot of boxes in what the Roosters need. Interesting to see how the next month plays out

Surely we have to re-sign Lodge, he is a great replacement for SST, is going great guns and I think will be able to provide guidance to young guys like May and Taphua. I would much rather have him than Payne in the Hass,
