  • If you want proof of corruption in the NRL, watch the Tigers v NQ game

I'm no fan of either side, and I'm sorry for going off topic, but the Tigers were absolutely rogered sideways by the bunker tonight. Everyone involved in that despicable decision should be sacked and never allowed to officiate a game of NRL again. I don't think I've seen a worse decision in my 50 years of following the game. If they can do that to the Tigers, imagine what they can (and do) do to a more competitive team like Easts. Tonight's display of full-blown ineptitude leaves me completely pessimistic that we'll get a fair go by these morons over the next few months. A diabolical game, they should all hang their heads in shame.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Tigers robbed ! Wasn't a penalty at the end as the cowboy player ran into the tiger players back , how could he avoid that ? Cowboys challenged Jackson Hastings strip penalty , aren't vindicated but don't lose their challenge which they ultimately use to wrongly win the game . Should have been the Tigers upset of the year !

Just saw the tigers 1 point loss and immediately thought 2 things.
        The ref likely Klein.
The NRL milking the QLD dollar.

Absolutely shocking call. What’s good old Toddy going to say about all the calls always going to the teams at the pointy end of the comp? Oh that’s right the cowboys ARE at the pointy end!

How were they even allowed to challenge?

They challenged a non-decision. I've never seen that.

He has absolutely no feel for the game at all. Wests deserved that win, fought hard and than had it ripped away from them by incompetence

Anusley will be right at home defending this - I've seen his BS spinning at his finest - "referees can apply the advantage for as many tackles as they like without penalising - up to 3 sets if necessary" - in relation to Sutton binning Crichton against pamfers.

It was Klein in the bunker?

Seriously, the bloke is not biased, cheat or corrupt. He is just hopeless. Will always cave into the home crowd and intimidating players who’ll scream out for a penalty. He is just too weak willed.

Bingo, we have a winner. Let's hear that turd's take on today's "win". I reckon he'll be a hypocrite. Let's see.

My neighbours are old Wests supporters (and to an extent myself I live in traditional Wetsts territory so naturally I will always back the WT’s except against us) was actually just having a beer with them watching the game and cooking up a bbq the absolute joy on their faces when WT scored in the 79th minute was honestly so uplifting for them I felt really happy for them in such a dire season only to have a no-call challenged by the Cowboys and the wining goal being slotted by Holmes their hearts sunk, I felt so ****ing bad for them was horrible mum dad and kids all in black and gold strip it was like someone they loved just died gut wrenching.

The total incompetence of modern day officials is absolutely destroying this game we all love, PVL needs to get booted out on his ass along with that disgrace head of football Graham Annesley muppets like Klein and that ref today they have royally ****ed a boil over Tigers had a binned player in what would have been a famous victory that would have brought joy to all the people here that are die hard followers of a struggling club.

Enough is enough when are we going to get some consistency? Never

When are these officials going to learn the rules?

Why didn’t the ref explain to the Cowboys that a no call can’t be challenged?

Im not hating on refs because we need them in the game but this shit is just total incompetence and it happens on a weekly basis terrible way to lose.

This, they had no standing to challenge a non call.

Captains challenge is another example of interfering unnecessary PVL rules. Get rid of it. Along with 6 agains and 2 point field goals it’s a gimmicky rule that just creates more confusion.

I mean, who really understands all the finer points of when the captains challenge can be applied? I wouldn’t be surprised if even some of the refs don’t know. One of ‘em was bound to get confused sooner or later.

Stupid unnecessary rule get rid of it.

Calls like this and many against us in recent times have me questioning my monetary commitment to this sport sometimes

Klein is not biased mate you are right, he is just incompetent he does not know how to referee a game of rugby league, he doesn't even know the rules of the game well as he demonstrated again tonight .I've been saying it for years tis bloke should be demoted to touch judge but I reckon he would stuff that up too.
