So many of us long term members from Bay 13 have been moved over to Bay 33/34 in the new stadium. I refuse to believe these were allocated according to tenure and preferences.

its not just the move to the eastern side. I almost expected that.

but to shove us in the front row is criminal.

They should have allowed people to manually pick their seats based on age of membership. They have had 4 years to do it, so there is no excuse for this contempt.

Yep, we were a few rows above the tunnel too. My membership says 10 years, but as a group we were there since 2008 (unfortunately the original memberships were in another of our groups name and he relinquished it when he moved o/s for a period).

We've been moved to row E in bay 33. so similar to you.

Danish what were your preferences? I just can't believe that a 10 year member doesn't qualify for the top 2 of their preference sheet. And as you have suggested, it's exacerbated by throwing us down the front.

We preferenced bay 15. Then maybe we were the other opposition tunnel then bay 33.

We either got our 2nd or 3rd choice AND got shoved in the front row.

there’s no way easts has more than maybe 3000 gold/silver ticketed members. And of those I can’t imagine more than 500 of them would be members longer than our longest serving me ever who is around 20 years.

the whole thing stinks.

the cherry on top will be when they finally release membership prices. With any luck they’ll be so expensive enough people will cancel and we might be able to get a decent seat

You guys should send them the link to this thread. They need to see it's widespread disappointment. I can't believe they haven't told you the price as well - that is completely farcical .

Hi all,

I've been reading your posts for many years now and have finally registered to be able to respond to the farce that is the Gold members seating allocation at the new SFS. I need to vent!!! I have been a gold member for 21 years and had spoken to Roosters membership about submitting a large group of thirteen for our seating allocation. The group of loyal supporters that have sat together at the old SFS in Bay 12 in front of the away coach's box for two decades. The Roosters membership had stated that 21 year tenure would be high up in the allocation order. I have a three digit roosters membership number so I though we would at least get our first or second preferences. Alas we were allocated our third preference in Bay 12 which is now in my opinion worse seats than what we had at the old SFS. ( We had seats on the 40 metre line at the old SFS)

I totally agree Danish. There is no way that there are thousands of Gold members that would have longer tenure than 21 years !!! Many in my group are very disappointed and are considering cancelling their membership.

I will be ringing Roosters membership tomorrow for an explanation. I'm not holding my breath for them to fix the allocation as they have already sent the seating allocation out to members today. However if I see vermin filth sitting in Bay 13 and 15 instead of loyal supporters with long membership tenure for our first game against the Vermin that will be the last straw for me. We were promised if we stay loyal and renew our memberships for our three years at the SCG they will look after us. " Loyalty breeds Loyalty" We even pledged our memberships payments to the club during Covid and didn't ask for a refund and many were doing it tough at the time and this is what we get in return. Very disappointed!!!

Does anyone know what the seating capacity is for each Bay at the New SFS stadium.

Sorry to hear you didn’t get your preference. I assume you let your membership lapse while OS for a period of time. Maybe this was a factor is your seat allocation. I have 12 season tickets. They won’t all be taken every week so I’ll most likely have spares. Let me know if you want and if there are spares they are yours.
