You would think that management at Manly could have anticipated this would be an issue for some of their players. Its farking obvious really.

Some religious folk believe that the text in their Holy Books was written long ago and that our society has evolved since then and that some text in their Holy Books contradicts other text in the same books.

Hopefully 7 of Manly's best players will boycott the game.

I never knew the Roosters jersey or any sporting jersey in the world is a anti alphabet group jersey. The normal jerseys don’t state gays aren’t welcome, that they’re not included etc so why do we need a special one pushing that we are inclusive. None of the clubs ban alphabets, don’t let them play etc,but basically that’s what they’re claiming by saying we must wear a special one saying that they are allowed to in fact play & support our clubs.
More crap & I’d refuse to & not on religious grounds, just because they are included anyway,so it’s all crap.

So obvious that you have to wonder how this could've happened.

Is this officially "NRL Pride Round".or is it something Manly has invented?

Seriously though, what the hell is queer? I honestly don't grasp the meaning or why I should support them.
But does a standard jersey specifically exclude the alphabet group…..no it doesn’t so they’re all clearly in the wrong with their agenda

That’s where I’m at on all things like that that are the flavour of the day.
The Roosters jersey isn’t anti Black, anti gay, anti female etc so why do we need another one to prove that they’re part of the club & allowed to wear the jersey like everyone is.
I want a man’s round & thetarts in the NRLW should be forced to wear & promote a mens hersey, there should be a straight round & jersey,a white mans round & jersey, hell how about an Italian one seeing as though the great Mini was of Italian decent. How about we have a tanga round,an overweight round & every other round as these other so called include rounds actually divide more & are anti everything else.

First thing that crossed my mind when I heard about the pride jersey was how on earth Manly would get their Poly boys to don them......by not even telling them about it was seemingly the plan, smart.

This is the perfect scenario, our opposition is in disarray and it pisses off bigots like you… win win

I can’t see these pride jerseys taking off, largely because they’ll be quite possibly the worst selling jerseys ever

It wasn't long ago human beings were incarcerated or sent to concentration camps or even executed simply for being homosexual.

It's fair to say that in between that extreme and a club making a gesture specifically welcoming gay people, people of homosexual persuasion have had to endure a lot of hardships.

These zealots who want to make a point of voicing their objection to other people's sex lives (none of their farking business) over a rainbow stripe on their jersey, get none of my sympathy.

Just for the record, they don't have the backing of Jesus - he never said anything against gay people; in fact they were just the kind of underdogs he would typically go into bat for (like Mary Magdalene).

I suppose these farktards think that Jesus would have backed them vilifying prostitutes as well, ignorant turds.

Religious reasons. Give me a break.

                                Good on you Manly lads!
So over the rest of us having to curtail what we may or may not believe to placate these freaks.
Why don’t we have a Jewish jersey, a pigeon fanciers jersey or a “I was bullied in kindergarten jersey??
Message to the alphabet weirdos….You can’t FORCE people to accept your lifestyle as normal, anymore than a pedophile can.
Sick to death of hearing it about it….I don’t bang on about my sexual preference and wave a flag around saying “look at me, look at me, I’m important”.
No one cares. Shut the …. up
