Huh? I thought you were indicating alcohol and gambling were in most religious scriptures as taboo, just replying to same. Not sure what your response above means in that context....mun.

I reckon the players should do an Albanian Steering Wheel as a post try celebration this weekend. Even better, they should bring in SesameStreetKid to lead the precession!

i want to win on thursday and win big if we can but i wouldn't complain if we let them score unopposed on the first play of the game out of respect of the stance that manly has taken. won't happen in professional sport but we're the roosters. i want to win but i want to feel good about the club. give them a 6 point head start and then game on
I don’t think we need to go that far. I’d be more than happy if we smashed them to zero! I just felt Dessie handled the presser very well given the impossible position Manly management threw him in. The whole situation is a diabolical mess and should have been dealt with behind the scenes in a proper consultative process where all stakeholders were given a voice.

Time for some pay back for last year against our reserves team. They only scored 1 try against Dragons last week. Imagine what Manu & co are going to do to them.

Yes that is correct but there is no place for prejudices and bigotry though.

I’d say they are already quite embarrassed

Manly could well be galvanised as well so the Chooks need to play them like they are at full strength as the pressure is on the Chooks to win and none on Manly

Dessie has gone to some creative lengths to create his famous 'siege mentality’.

They have rights, and I think their beliefs trump the wokeness of a society trying to force homosexuality down our throats.
Not really if SBW can wear a jersey without a betting companies logo should be the same for the Vegan and as below they have the right not too.

Veganism is a "protected non-religious belief" under Article 9 of the European Convention on Human Rights. Veganism is also protected under the International Bill of Rights and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which Australia helped draft and signed.

Society has moved on for the better and has more movement to make but of course some just can't or steadfastly refuse to move with the times.

wow the manly board really shit the bed on this one. anybody could see thr probable outcome of this from a million miles away.

i do feel bad for the players who take the field and who choose to sit out, no win situation.

it also makes it a more pressurised game for us, win by 50? so we should have , if it is close , or god forbid lose the media will carve us . we cannot afford to take manly lightly , but i do kind of wish them well, 48 16 would be my ideal score , roosters lead 48 6 , until the last 5 mins when manly score twice to put some pride ( no pun ) back in the jersey.

It would be typical Roosters to get complacent and find a way to lose. I hope this doesn’t happen. There will be nothing better than smashing them after last season.

It's a one off game and plenty of times teams with a host of players out have got the chocolates over the much more fancied sides.

I would be tempted to rest Teddy for this game, given his heavy workload during Origin.
This could be the freshen up he needs with the upcoming critical games …

                                2011 Rd2 . Look it up.

Massive favourites to flog a very very understrength Manly side.
