This could be the freshen up he needs with the upcoming critical games …

It's all hands on deck from now on as they may well have to win 5 games out of the remaining 6- 4 may not be enough and for and against may come into play as well - time for rest is after game

That's the thing, we knew it was the women in league round but there was no mention of any pride round from the League. Was this just an Manly initiative? AFL has a well run and designated and well advertised Pride Round but the League has only mentioned about a possible Pride Round for next year.
This is a real stuff up and has been damaging for all parties involved.

We’re a footy team and go out to play footy on the park. If we( the club) want to support some movement/ ideal , then do it through media, donations, fund raising events etc… DO NOT bring it on the field.
Who was the last player excluded for their sexual persuasion or religious belief? Our sport is inclusive without the need to prove it through on field displays.
Manly could’ve promoted their pride jerseys and out them
up for sale without having players wear them, there was absolutely no need for it. Who was the genius that came up with the idea? And who was the idiot that rubber stamped it? Why not make their identity public? Why Hasler and DCE give the press conference? Why not management ?

All I care about is the roosters winning and winning well, and beating the broncos, cowboys , Storm and rabbits ( all above us) and get into 5th or 4th if possible , and then go on a massive smashing run to win the premiership and make me rue the fact I chickened out when I was to place $100@ $31 on them to win it 3 weeks ago.

You might well be right, but we can't entertain the idea of not trying on field to support a non-sports agenda.

I think it is absolutely disgusting what the Manly Marketing department has done to the Manly players. The dept has put huge pressure on these poor players to make a public choice on their religious and cultural beliefs. The Marketing dept should be ashamed of themselves and should submit their resignations. Why manly dared to be different to other codes is bewildering.
The Swans celebrate "alphabet differences" each year without tampering with the jersey. They simply market the round and place the pretty rainbow over their emblem and run through banner - SIMPLES!

Yep ... I'm down with Hutch at left centre (I actually prefer Hutch there instead). Adam could be on the bench as another utility or perhaps we could opt for another big body i.e. Terrell May (get him more minutes) or have Naufahu Whyte get a run.
