Trust me I can't stand gambling advertising being involved in sport & have seen the carnage it leaves behind. I'm just saying the NRL & gambling are so intertwined that orchestrating a free try wouldn't be accepted & the Roosters would be punished.

I understand what you are saying but these are his personal opinions which should be left after the footy season is over. He is paid to coach footy. Why haven't any other coaches come out in support.

what next from him? His opinion on the War in Ukraine,? the rise of China?, High inflation?

Once our season finishes he can talk all he wants.

I suppose the thing is that this affects the Roosters directly so he was answering questions from the media. I presume other coaches haven't been asked, so probably wouldn't offer an opinion. As for the other things you mentioned, I'm sure he has opinions on them as well. He strikes me as a well rounded person and is obviously a deep thinker. Maybe someone on here who's close to him can set up a Q&A with him on the chookpen at season's end. Or sign him up for an episode of 'Bloke in a Bar' and get all our questions answered - just have to hold the beer, decant the red!

Agree, I love Robbo. He seems very intelligent & the players absolutely love him. There's no coach better who is more articulate than him. He definitely is a deep thinker. Sometimes a little bit to much IMO but otherwise the best thing to happen to the club in a very long time.

that's also bs - even more so. we wouldn't be done for match fixing unless we told bookies what was going to happen (which we wouldn't).

Why manly dared to be different to other codes is bewildering.
The Swans celebrate "alphabet differences" each year without tampering with the jersey. They simply market the round and place the pretty rainbow over their emblem and run through banner - SIMPLES!
