I wonder how many of the seven will play Parra at Brookvale next week? Saab in particular would be in for an ear-bashing playing on the wing

He was just giving his personal view. Robbo is all class.

Their mindset should be to stick to their guns and be true to their beliefs. Bending contributes to the problem.

I'm not gonna complain if more Manly players join them

Trbo or DCE could still drop-out and tell us what they really think haha

People are tolerant of the gay mob just as others ate tolerant of the religious mob.

The problem arises when one mob tries to ram their views down another’s throat. League went through all this years ago with Ian Roberts and everyone moved on. There is no reason to raise it and highlight it. It does nothing but cause destabilisation and hate.

I know plenty of gays both blokes and chicks and the majority don’t subscribe to the ‘movement. They are very happy to go about their lives as they are. They do not want to be associated with the woke mob trying to cause division and that’s exactly what these things cause. Division.

It’s Women in League round anyway and it’s a real shame that this has detracted from the chance to recognise the birds behind the scenes.

After being bombarded by the news this morning RE Manly v Easts… I said a little prayer. I hope you don’t mind me sharing it & no offence is intended to anyone or any group…

              Lord

i know there are a lot of good people out there, LGBTetc & not LGBTetc. Please don’t let the personal agendas of the not so good ones, from both sides, take the reins on this current issue to include/exclude some, from either group, & dictate how & what we should be thinking or how & what we should do!

please guide the mighty chooks to an almost impossible premiership championship for 2022, by guiding the officials & game managers to stop manipulating results to satisfy stakeholders outside the game.

Your humble servant, just here for the footy.

              Amen.

I thought DCE was gay? fair dinkum. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Whilst I would have no issue wearing such a jersey. I agree these players should stick to their beliefs. I also think they all will do just that.

And regardless of the beliefs, they should be admired for their dedication and not labelled and persecuted. Des got it right in explaining that he respected and understood their stance.

That said, the Roosters now need to bend them over and do them dry!

Yep. DCE (Churchill Medal winner against the Chooks) and Foran are a formidable duo. As is Forward leader Turbo J. I don't see them as grievously wounded and the turn of events will do wonders for the esprit de corps but I don't think that the RWB will lose under any circumstances - it's 2010 again, we're on a roll to glory.

I also thought that the mod pulled the rainbow thread prematurely denying us the opportunity to shirtfront the few on here that don't think there's a problem with youth suicide over sexuality.

And so the club should. Biodiversity is the du jour thing.

I agree with your sentiments over this.

So, the Roosters damn near screwed this game up. I can now only wonder what would have happened if the sea egulls were at full strength.

We would have played much better.

Your reply suggests you believe the Roosters were dragged down to the level of the opposition they faced on Thursday night. Or they were, once again, overawed, or overly affected by the emotions of jersey-gate. Either way, it suggests frailty.
