bunch of reserve graders are putting it to us.
think theyre a bunch of superstars playing touch footy and dropping the ball every set
3 tries to 2 is abymsal. countless missed tackles.
Manly, with nothing to lose, threw the ball around and ran hard.
Losing Collins was a big blow.
In the wash-up, Manly scored 10 points...Roosters scored 20.
DCE, Foran, bro turbo etc...it was always going to be a tough game.
Talk here before the game of Roosters winning by 60 points was very optimistic...even misguided.Last edited by bondi.boy; 07-29-2022, 04:01 AM.

Toops what a legend - great game.
Lodge - thankfully some great recruitment landed him here because he is just what we need. Bends the line, makes his tackles and doesn't make mistakes.
JWH - was JWH which is immense with some really dumb stuff thrown in.
Teddy was good as always but not his usual brilliant.
I thought Rads was good because we were just trying to go around them all night too soon and he was one of the few trying to straighten the attack up.
Manu good as was Conner.
JS - what happened to him this week - poor game - ran sideways and lined himself up to be picked off multiple times - I love this kid because he doesn't do that? Passed to Teddy a couple of times when he just should have carted it up - it was like he was trying to protect himself.
Momo maybe stuck first contact in making a tackle once all game - he is a liability so badly in defence. Unfortunately the coach doesn't see any other options.
Verrills had a good game - he has really come back well. Good for him and us.
Really hard to be positive from that game and this was the best I could do.

I think without the forward pass ruling on Toops break and we subsequently score then the result would have been different. Manly we’re just holding on all night and if we up 18 points here it may have broken them.
Best to get a bad game out of the way against weaker opposition than get belted by someone above us and then lose confidence. At least we’re still in it and destiny is in our own hands.
That’s probably the worst we’ve played all season so hopefully it’s out of the way until R1 next year!

well....thats what i thought might happen...we were either gonna flog em or take it easy /buggerise around and win anyway....should of been way more than the final tally
and at a minimum, Campbelltown by the sea should of had two sin bins and a send off .....congrats to the ref who graduated the Lindsay Klein referee college on a shithouse performance
