POS role is to sign up young kids and pick up kids from Toyota Cup... e.g Adam Henry, Tasi, JWH, Tupou etc etc.

Iam saying I don't think you can credit him for players like Tasi and JWH.. He not only did not discover them but most clubs knew they were talents but we got them for one reason... we offered them a crap load more than anyone else.. That is not a skill at all. Henry was not wanted by the Warriors and will never be a first grader. The same goes for Topou.. They do not have the skill set to play first grade on a long term basis.. They will have a couple of seasons at Newtown and move on.

So lets keep JWH on 500k as a battering ram. I cant see a problem with signing him, and getting rid of Anasta and Mini. These senior players offer nothing. I love Mini, but his legs are nott quick enough. We would have more line breaks with someone just a bit quicker.

As for Anasta, well this bloke can't even hit a player on the chest anymore. He offers nothing.

Yes to SBW, Maloney and Bellamy, no to Lussick, and a big NO to Stewart, he's a 28 y/o injury prone grub whose knees are shot to pieces. We've got RTS who already looks the goods waiting in the wings, with, to a lesser extent Wells, and Alofa, all of whom i'd prefer to that dirty piece of scum Stewart. On Lussick the only good thing he's done in FG is laying into Blair last year, much prefer JWH.

There are so many probs with this team. Dumb players like JWH for starters. Mentally inept. Yeah hr is a tough bastard and does not take a backward step, but he is not a footballer a$$hole. The answer is not just our youth. We need to supplement this with established stars like SBW and Stewart. We have no bloody choice. I never expected to win today and tbh we will be lucky to make the 8. But if smith can't get this team mentally tough enough for a challenge like today then he needs to go immediately.

I don't think JWH OR his agent think anything over 400 is achievable. Even if they keep talking themselves up.

I think the problem with this club is far deeper than just player names.

Maloney is a good start.

I would much rather Fish as well. Someone posted 2 weeks ago we were after him but it seems to have come to nought and I can't see warriors letting him go early. Stewart is only what I read on here today. I know beetroot head is a *anker but it is a huge call for him to state that he is definitely signing with us for next year. If he doesn't well there is nowhere for him to hide. Surely he would not make a call like that without something pretty positive behind it. All I know is that brett Stewart has been destroying our footy team for bloody years!

Smith called for drink breaks at the 20 min mark for the penriff game. Penriff refused and already had us beat mentally. Smith is a marshmellow in regards to mental toughness. He is incompetent like this team he has put together.
