The problem with those small suburban grounds for the home teams is they lose a lot of money to corporates compared to the bigger stadiums which accommodate them.
I'd imagine people forking out hundreds of thousands in sponsorship want more than a pie and beer for their trouble.

The bloke needs to be hit on the head and buried in a shallow grave.

He's been a disaster for the game.

I think Folau has every right to talk his nonsense.............and I think the coaches have every right to criticize the game managers.
V'Landys needs to clamp down on those who are manufacturing certain parts of the game, and let the game take its course like sport should be.
That and piss off the betting agencies.
Folau does have the right to preach scripture from the Bible.
His problem, was/is, that as an employee of an organisation paying him money, "He who pays the piper caĺls the tune" comes into play.
Refuse to play the tune your employer calls? then employer will most likely wave you goodbye.

Coaches have the legal right to criticise the game managers...but there are defamation laws, NRL rules, and coaches are employed by clubs.
Wisdom dictates that unless a coach gets the approval of his club (whose logo he wears at press conferences), has plenty of cash lying around to pay top lawyers/NRL fines, he watches very carefully what words he utters.
