  • V'Landys Again...........

Now that the fallout from all last weeks drama is settling down, I remember his media sessions.
He actually said on camera that he was grateful to Manly for taking the heat off him about the Wests robbery incident.
Then he goes waffling on about league being 'inclusive', and saying that the game respects every ones right to an opinion.
    What about the coaches?
    They are gagged.
His precious game managers should not be a protected species, especially considering the dubious acts they perform onfield.
Sorry, but V'Landys is a hypocrite.

Maria Folau has blasted V'landys following his comments backing the boycotting players for their stance.

      "Maria Folau has lashed out."

      And who can blame her.

The treatment of Folau has been nothing short of atrocious.

These idiots trying to sell League as inclusive could not be more exclusive. The game was inclusive already until they tried to promote it as such by excluding an individual.

Too right it was inclusive. Show me where a gay person was worried about coming to a league game. Show me any stadium's which barred gay people coming in..... Cultural, Heritage & Historical rounds..etc.. of course but don't ram something else down our throats that represents a tiny proportion of the population otherwise every minority group should be included. Treat everyone respectfully as equals. Some one's way of life is there's to chose as they like & good luck to them.

                  100%
I dont see inequality in my life, I just see everyone doing their best.
I know gay, lesbian, bisexual, black, Asian, Indian, fat, skinny people & none of them complain of inequality.
I would love to know a trannie, Im not into trannies but I like idea of a half man half women.
The QIA's Im not sure about but if I met one & they told me they were a Q I wouldnt give a toss, I dont give a fark what you look like or what your preferences are, if I like you I like you, it all comes down to your personality nothing else.

                        Nope, don't agree.
Anyone of us who'd get rid of the stupid 6-again rule is straight away doing a better job than V'Landys.

In corporate land I think 'diversity' means that your doors are open to progressing inclusivity of the following groups that continue to experience disadvantage (these groups have also been recognised by national + state anti-discrimination legislation, so you're basically 'following the law'):
                          - CALD
                          - Indigenous
                          - Women
                          - People with disabilities
                          - LGBTIQ

All major corporates are gonna have a diversity team and a statement on their commitment to these 5 pillars of diversity as part of their corporate plan.

IMO it's just bog standard corporate speak that any CEO's gonna confirm their commitment to during public appearances that can't really be linked to anything else.

I'm all for being inclusive.........although I never realized rugby league had a problem in that department.
But I'm also big on freedom of speech.
I think Folau has every right to talk his nonsense.............and I think the coaches have every right to criticize the game managers.
V'Landys needs to clamp down on those who are manufacturing certain parts of the game, and let the game take its course like sport should be.
That and piss off the betting agencies.
