This is really something to look forward to. The best club has the best stadium.

        Thanks R6.

SCG/SFS Members are in for a treat.
Like the former stadium level 2 bar area is very spacious. Both bars - one on the northern end and the other on the southern end are about 10m long decked out in marble. Seats out the front are cushioned (about 2 inches thick) and very comfortable.
Large LED screens at northern and southern ends.
The rake is superb....not a bad seat in the house.
Concourses are very wide.....heaps more toilets and retails outlets so congestion shouldn't be as bad as the former.

As 13 indicated - the best stadium for the best team ENJOY.

For those who want to absorb it before the Vermin game there's a community day 28th August - day session and a night session. Check out NRL website for full details.

Yay we spent $800m to have the same or worse view than we all had at the SFS, but now the SCG Trust members have an awesome bar.

                truly worth it.

never get why people are obsessed with food and beverage at a stadium. It’s league. You are there for 2 hours and at most buy drinks/food twice and have a piss once. Facilities upgrades are primarily aimed at people who don’t care as much about what’s going on on-field

I thought from watching the video that the viewing would be way better from every vantage point, and that may even allay some of the disappointment that I know you and some other long standing members had expressed re your new seating?

I thought the club's treatment of you and the other people who posted was appalling

Agreed mate. Labor costed that they coulda achieved pretty much the same thing got $10m. At the time I was saying 'fark Gladys and Ayres are corrupt!!!' I stand by those comments, and recent events have clearly backed my opinions about them, with both getting the sack.

IMO this is a perfect example of pork barrelling and 'infrastructure for the sake of infrastructure'. In short...

                    1. Identify a problem. OH NO!!! The aisles no longer meet 2022 safety standards, people (supposedly) prefer a square seating arrangement and the food shops are shyte.

                    2. Throw money at it, making sure your mates (Fox, Alan Jones & big building companies) are on the take. Set a price of $1b because your ultimate goal is to find a piece of infrastructure that can soak up that kinda money. DON'T consider the cost of a reno... a new stadium is a MUST!!! New seats and pie stands can be done for $10m, but that's not the point! They're looking to give their mates a $1b treat, not a $10m upgrade.

                    3. Have an economic crisis, realise it's craaazy money (which we don't have), sack everybody involved for corruption and move on.

Mmmm I was hoping for steeper seating like CommBank (Parras stadium) I've sat there the equivalent amount of rows back as I've been allocated here (8 rows) but i get the feeling this isn't going to be as good

                        BBR

The viewing and overall layout is superior to Parra's stadium.
Sydney FC Cove fans are so close to the action behind the goals they'd better have good reflexes or hard heads for those stray shots at goal.

You know what.....habitual whiners are hard to please no matter how awesome this new stadium atmosphere IS.

If the miserables don't like it then stay at farkin home and wave your flags at the telly. Miserable #@$%₩

How can you presume or spin such shite such when you clearly haven't seen or experienced our new venue first hand?

                          Glass half empty hey!

I doubt i'll ever make it there but it looks great. Nice and open so if you leave your seat for whatever reason you won't miss much. {Except if your on the toot). I like the look of it compared to the Eels one too, a bit more sophisticated.

Would have been nice if the actual field was ready lol and more shots of the ground from seating perspectives in that video but thanks for posting. There'll be many a shot on TV anyway.

Shame the colours weren't strictly RWB, but alot of fans are going to enjoy this.

Talking about going to the loo at stadiums. In the US at sporting grounds I've been to, over 12 in total, they've all had TV's everywhere, including in the toilets. Small touch but gee they do the experience at the ground well
