I would be happy for Roosters to play at SCG for free than share with south!
Just fk off souths
You mustn't have been to many live games at the SCG then. I love the old girl don't get me wrong - but as a footy ground for spectators I'm pleased this new one is finished.
I have just read an article on the internet about Souffs request to play home games at the new stadium.
Apparently the NSW Government has not responded to their request.
They want Souffs to continue to play their home games at Accor Stadium, so that it does not become a "white elephant"
Do miracles happen?
You do realise we are the Eastern Suburbs don’t you?
YES an forever will be EAST but we are called SYDNEY ROOSTERS now !
Look just like South's! There South's rabbitohs but they own realestate in the EAST , fk knows why still but yeah to my point!
SYDNEY ROOSTERS has the smallest NRL footprint in the league why not expand locally like the fkn vermins did!
North stadium/ SYDNEY ROOSTERS STADIUM
We dont own that new stadium an probably never will!
i propose to keep our base office etc etc moore park an build a stadium locally on the north primarily for NSW cup ,an if it so happens down the track the greedy owner's of the stadium want increase the rent then just like tiger's they can go to there suburban ground because i am a season ticket holder an i am sick of missing home game because they are at the central Coast!!!!!!!!
what next!
we need to plan for this ,an without putting the fan out! If they raise the rent at the new so called home// south maybe home to ,then i can see central Coast as the alternative because we are at the mercy of the system of not owning our own stadium

Factor into your argument that the Roosters Centre of Excellence and admin office spaces are located on the Eastern Side of the new stadium. Very plush and state of the art.
The Chooks ain't going anywhere else.
Also Snap, in response to the ever decreasing participation in juniors across the State, Abdo confirmed on 100% Footy the other night that the Commission's strategy is for clubs to "adopt" a regional area and develop/nurture that nursery much like Penriff have done really well in Bathurst.
That said, we're entrenched at the Central Coast so Manly, Newcastle and Souffs can get #!^%**$ and start searching!!!
Whether you like it or not, almost every club has been taking a home game somewhere else much to the disappointment to season ticket holders.
You support the club you love because you want to.

Agree but disagree with Roosters not having a strong hold on the EASTERN SUBURBS DISTRICTS, we are at a disadvantage every year 5 junior club's while Penrith as you mentioned have over 16 junior clubs plus Bathurst etc etc!
Will forever support my club but you have to call a spade a spade an Roosters have been dealt a sht deal
Hopefully the PA at Allianz will be better that the one I'm listening to now at the SCG.
Too loud, sound too muffled, thumping music playing during it.
All double dutch to me.

BB, we've just won 5 in a row...that is music to our ears right there...take noise cancelling ear buds next time..you can get small discreet ones these days...the acoustics are dreadful at the SCG though so I sympathise. I had the unfortunate experience of watching some channel 9 footage last week (must have been a highlights package) and I couldn't hear the post match interviews properly because of all the echoes and yelling going on..I love the history and elegance of the SCG, acoustics not so much..

The club are posting some memories of the SCG before the new stadium opens. Here is the first in the series (these ANZAC jerseys look superb in the photos)
There is a photo of Sam Walker, 2 videos and then a couple of photos in the post. Keep clicking right:
