Not really as Staggs is 18th for missed tackles so far with 60 (18 games) and Momirovski has 39 (15 games).
Walker 9th with 69 missed tackles (19 games) / Manu 29th with 52 missed tackles ( 18 games ) / Sitili who is out for the season is 43rd with 45 missed tackles (16 games)

Genuinely, what do these stats have to do with Momorovski getting absolutely rissoled by Staggs earlier this season? The way he defended that night, you’d think all his 39 missed tackles came in that one game.
Take it with a grain of salt but Seibold did a break-down and said that this is a particular move where Haas becomes the ballplayer, they change the angle on their right and then Staggs gets a 1-on-1 with his opposing centre (where he's hard to tackle). He also noted that Ezra Mam is giving Reynolds a lot of space, and is coming of age.
Not saying there's a super easy fix but IMO Staggs will only destroy us again if we don't do our homework on their playbook. I put them in the same category as the Eels... they've been a little bit more consistent than us this season but aren't invincible. Rather, they have a few good tricks that we need to deal with.

True that - it was a train wreck where Staggs absolute owned him and unfortunately I've seen very little defensively since from Momo that would indicate he has improved since then.
hopefully he contains him and has a ripper of a game defensively. He is very hard to handle Staggs when he is on.

Need inside pressure on Haas to make him rush his pass and give our defensive line time to adjust.
I think Momo had 9 missed tackles last time we played them and it was only really Manu and Sammy that pulled us out of the shit.
I will just say in defence of momo that he was starting to get a bit of confidence and playing much better when he went to right centre whilst Joey was our 5/8.
He is so right hand and right footed dominate that he is really unsuited to the left edge.
His defensive technique has been very poor when going high and Staggs is a bull who loves contact.
Tough ask tonight but we need momo to stand up and keep him in check.

Missed tackles obviously don't count when you rush out of line and are not even close to the guy with the ball....
The Broncos will target Walker and Keary obviously.
It's a bit of a catch 22 situation though - the defenders inside and outside Walker and Keary need to have a clear mind and not think they have to rush in to assist Walker and Keary in every tackle as both Walker and Keary do need to take ownership of their roles in the defensive line and make their tackles.
Rushing in does create issues especially centres rushing in as this draws in the wingers - an offload and or a pass and then you have a possible 2 on 1 or 3 on 1 situation that attacking team will exploit.
Staggs and idiot who got a million tats before playing any 1st grade: 0
Like the Eels tactic of offloading to a #9 then changing the angle... it works once, not twice. 'Playing what's in front of you' does better than hack plays in the long run.
