Robbo was asked about it in the press conference. They didn't actually say what was said, just that it's all about getting better and improving on what we're doing. Robbo was asked about JWH taking on a leadership role with Sammy and Robbo commented that 'Jared has coached nearly as many players as me' and that it's all about improving on what we're doing and getting better. He didn't seem concerned at all

Yes I’m sure he’s copped worse but Jared needs to be better than that as a leader and experienced player.

The same can be said about Victor but I’m more surprised at Jared calling out a player like that in front of his team mates..

For sure. Probably happens in most games but just doesn’t get captured on TV like it did last night.

If young Sammy wants to play with the big boys he needs to take it like a man and no doubt he does. It’s all about improving his game.

I am sure NRL 360 will have a 15 minute segment on it with Anasta, Knuty, Mr Exclusive and Crawley fabricating a Roosters in crisis theme for the next week.

Personally I didn't like it. It could easily bring the kid's confidence down during the game not knowing what to do the next time around. I thought he was playing his hand well. The kick for Nat's try and nearly another himself. And his defence keeps improving every week. Address it at the video session. Robbo looked uncomfortable handling the question. Strange it happened straight after a try 15 minutes in that put us up 18-0 and looked like we were going to put 50 on them. Hopefully nothing in it.

Jared is a leader and from my two times speaking with him is a person whom when he speaks you listen. In 2013 after we lost to Titans I thought we were done for the Wesson I went back to the club after all the formalities were done quite a few of the players stuck around my Daughter was playing with Jimmy Maloneys kids ( Jimmy is a funny bloke ) Jared was doing the rounds with fans and eventually came over to our table We we’re talking footy a few of the people were all hyped for South’s next week telling them how much they wanted to beat them or not to lose to them Jared said really calmly it is not about them it is about us After speaking with him for about 5 minutes I walked away convinced we would run the next week and convinced we would win the GF as well There are not many people whose words have such an effect on me like Jared’s did that night.

Rookie Ref Todd Smith schooled by the NRL in how to manage a game as seen last night. The 3rd official 1st grade game for Smith last night and it was so bad but the worst is yet to come.
