  • If Radley wants to lead by example - (on and off the field), maybe he should have a good look at himself.

I commend Walker for taking the chances he does. He is a seriously good x-factor.

people are saying that we haven't been tested v the top teams but in the last month we've been playing teams who are there or thereabouts and made them look ordinary
I’d like to see Fletcher Baker get a run in first just in case he has to play against Souths in the final round. I’d like him to get fired up and smash Latrell, he’s big enough.

My favourite Manu attacking play was when he gets third run after both the props on a kick return. He could easily score on these plays or at least make 20 metres and put us in a position to score two tackles later.

      • Top win by the Chooks.
Im loving the tough rough play by JWH, Lodge & Rads.
Suaalii is unreal, he plays it so hard, what a player.
The thrust of the team Keary, Teddy, Verrills, Watson & Walker are deadly when they're on & the others N Butcher, Crighton, Manu, Momo, Toups & the bench are all great contributors.
        One game at a time.
Next weeks game is a must win, it will be a massive shot in the arm if the Chooks win.
Heads down this week & just fully concentrate on getting the win against the number 2 team in the comp.

            Seriously kidding himself.
He should be hauled up to the headmaster's office along with the two "filthy sprayers" he's applauding, and told.

What about, "over here Sam...you're playing well, no more short kicks though, for now"

              • Knowing this Roosters team if we drop one more game all season it'll be rnd 23 against the Tigers.

Otherwise the Premiership is basically in the bag and has been for a few weeks now

Hope it doesn't become a pivotal point that tips him towards the Dolphins.
Why stay and put that belittling and humiliating garbage ?

However, Radley now two weeks in a row has blown up at Walker. Something not right there and it needs to get sorted out.

                      Indeed.
At another club, filthy and angry sprays saw a coach moved on.
Applauding said sprays is basically the same as doing them yourself.

                      • I see Brad Stubbs AKA the coach whisperer was out on the field pumping the boys up during an extended warm up last night. Certainly seemed to help we started like absolute world beaters.

Both JWH and Radley have made many errors with the ball as well as given silly penalties away that have even meant time on the sidelines, I doubt Sam W would react the same way!

In saying that I’m sure Robbo saw the whole thing and will address it if he feels necessary..
I feel that Jackson Hasting is the sorta guy who would react that way in response to JWH and Friend blasting him. Whereas, Walker would take it to heart, put the team first and learn from it.

I'm completely opposed to bullying and being an @rse to people at work. Totally not on.

However, the NRL is... the NRL (not my Thursday night mixed netball comp). We're talking about elite athletes who constantly push themselves beyond physical exhaustion and then some in a blood sport where the winner takes all.

IMO if you ask most NRL players, they'd rather cop some lip from senior players rather than getting a hi-5 for screwing up and then be crying into their beers about 'bad luck' and what woulda / coulda / shoulda been.

There's a time for risky plays. That time is not when you're up by 3 tries with 15 to go and the ref's decided that they wanna engineer your opposition back into the game. Losing that game in the last 15 due to risky plays woulda been unforgivable!

He's scored and made many tries.
Teams scores many tries from kicks these days.

Normally I'd be really upset seeing someone so young being berated in a public setting..hell, I'm the sort of person who wants to cry when I see someone falling in the street and not laugh like 99% would. but when you had both players streaming blood from their faces, put this one in perspective and this is what Trent wisely has done. Like I said before, we all know Sam grew up with professional players for family..he knows what its all about...
