Yes I’m sure he’s copped worse but Jared needs to be better than that as a leader and experienced player.

The same can be said about Victor but I’m more surprised at Jared calling out a player like that in front of his team mates..

All good...if Sam Walker can speak like that to Jared and Victor when they stuff up/make mistakes, which they both do.

Needed to win and put on a show and we did. Didn't give them a look in. The good thing is we have plenty more improvement in us and we knocked off a Top 4 "contender". Some silly error but that's to be expected.

I think that could've been some of the worst game management of all time from the crooked officials. Clear as day they wanted a closer contest. We were too fast for them and they must've given away about 4 penalties in a set during the middle of that 2nd half,.nothing given. They get marched up the field and can only score after a pass that went 3m forward. Just laughable.

In terms of the Sammy Walker situation, are we certain that they were having a go at him? He didn't seem to do anything wrong that set other than shovel it to Radley with a flat pass to the line instead of shaping out the back maybe? Just seems odd to have a go after scoring points. If it was aimed at SW, whilst I think he should be able to handle it and it shows the standards our senior players set, they also need to cool it and let him play his footy and make mistakes to grow. Looks like he was DnMing Robbo for a bit in the sheds and had his namesake Andrew chatting to him as well. Sammy will be OK.

Butch is just what we need come finals, solid in defence and can run those lines, a real footy player.
People talk about game management from the referees, this is nothing they are instructed to do, but sub concuss bias is a thing. We jumped out to a 18 point lead, at the same time Broncs gave away a few penalties. All of a sudden the ref starts looking for infringement because he doesn't want to look one sided.
I wonder if our referees are trained in sub concuss bias? I interview candidates for jobs and we are constantly drilled on sub concuss bias.
Maybe the NRL likes sub concuss bias as it naturally evens games up , so this is something conveniently left out.
Lodge is a must for next year. but we have major cap issues.
I said this at the beginning of the year Manu is a luxury we cannot afford. Either Keary goes or Manu goes. Don't start at me, I love Manu but not as a Centre he is too good.

I watched Fox live and Warren Smith and Ennis thought the pass was 2 metres forward. The packaged highlights are from channel 9 and all 3 commentators are laughing about the pass being allowed it’s that far forward.

It may be a positive indicator of Sammy's standing within the team that he is now considered an equal ant not treated with kid gloves anymore.

On the flipside and closer to my view is that they have both thrown plenty of wayward passes this year and the negative cost to the team for their lack of discipline far out ways the odd error made by Sammy.. Something about glass houses.

Maybe they are sick of his low-percentage plays. I know I am.

When it comes off it looks great but it puts the team under so much pressure when it doesn’t (and there are plenty of examples of that)

Like I said before, do that stuff when you’re either in red hot form or up by plenty on the scoreboard.

It's interesting seeing us put 'contenders' to the sword hey?

First it was the Dragons and (to an extent) the Knights who we locked outta the top-8 with big wins. Now we've done for the Drongos and will have a serious crack at the Cows (who will be hoping to finish 2nd).

We've gone from 16 points and looking very much 'how ya going?' to 24 points, with 4 games left (32 points would include wins over the Cows and Drizz... top-4 is unlikely but possible).

That’s exactly my point.

Both JWH and Radley have made many errors with the ball as well as given silly penalties away that have even meant time on the sidelines, I doubt Sam W would react the same way!

In saying that I’m sure Robbo saw the whole thing and will address it if he feels necessary..

Yes I agree with you mun, but let’s not forget the brain dead plays both Jared and JWH have made regularly over the years..No one is perfect

In the footage I have seen you can’t tell who it is Jared and Radley are having a go at. Looks to me like they are pointing and yelling at someone on the sideline. I thought they were having a go at a touch judge. Was it definitely Walker? Could be fake news.
