Exactly. If it doesn't warrant a discussion then I don't know what does. We are all over the shop because some of the team want to win games the easy way rather than doing the hard yards. We've swung the pendulum too far across to this ad-lib stuff.

I had players I played with who would have a red hot go if you stuffed up. One was my captain coach and a former NSWRL player. He would give you an absolute bake, 2 mins later and it's all forgotten about cause you're too busy worrying about the next play.

I've just had another look at the game and its definitely Walker they are having a go at. I can't pick up what it was over. The try came in the set from a line drop out which resulted from Walker's kick into the in-goal. Whatever was said, it didn't seem to affect Walker's game but I did notice from that point on there were no more shallow kicks for himself into the in-goal.

Maybe its just me but I've thought Rads has been a little cool towards Walker for a while now. Just looking at his reaction to tries and try assists from Walker recently. Hope there's nothing in it, especially as Rads plays outside Walker and good communication between the 2 will be paramount to our continuing success.

It was the previous set when they bombed a try in the left corner. Ennis said in the call, "Bad play there by Sam Walker."

And apparently Radley didn't say ""****wit" -- he tapped his head and said, "Think about it."

Maybe its just me but I've thought Rads has been a little cool towards Walker for a while now. Just looking at his reaction to tries and try assists from Walker recently. Hope there's nothing in it, especially as Rads plays outside Walker and good communication between the 2 will be paramount to our continuing success.

I’ve definetly noticed friction between Sammy and Victor on more than one occasion, and it’s always instigated by Radley!

I mentioned on here a while ago in a game against Parra where Victor rushed towards Sam and pushed him while yelling at him over something, since then I’ve always noticed the tension.

Hopefully it gets resolved for the sake of team harmony..

Yeah I just watched it at NRL.com and the few minutes before the spray he kicked the ball in-goal for a repeat set, passed the ball to Butch on the right then two plays later we scored on the left. I could see nothing wrong. Plus the commentators in the few minutes prior were just praising his game. And this was just 15 minutes into the game and we were up 18-0. It is beyond me what he could have done.

I did notice post game Robbo was having a one on one with Walker so can only assume it may have been about this player exchange.

Of course there are better ways to do this though but not sure JWH and or Radley would do it any other way and JWH is I assume still the Vice Captain

As long as it doesn't affect players minds and have them second guessing what they do on the field at any given point in a game if worried about getting a bollocking from the senior players.

Really happy with last night's performance in front of a disappointing crowd it must be said.
Suaalii has changed our dynamic with his early set charges which puts us on the front foot and Lodge always manages to find his front for a quick play the ball.
Rads and Gus are back to playing good footy and Nat Butcher has been a godsend on the right edge and our defence has improved noticeably and given Walker more confidence. I thought some of his bootlace tackles were terrific last night.
Keary looks much more settled and Momo had his best game for us.
Teddy was our best for mine and is in stellar form, the two passes he threw for tries were sublime and on top of his running game is proving nearly impossible to stop.
May was strong off the bench and Watson is carving up the middle against tired forwards.
I thought Robbo could have given Ben Thomas a bit more game time since we had the game wrapped up with 15 to go.

maybe thomas playing limited mins means he can play for the bears, not sure. agree with everything else. the only thing i'd add is it's good to see that manu is still playing a lot of first receiver to good effect despite not being 5/8. we're re-writing the play book in attack.
people are saying that we haven't been tested v the top teams but in the last month we've been playing teams who are there or thereabouts and made them look ordinary

To be honest, we haven't received enough credit for our last 5 or so weeks.
The Rabbitohs just got over the Bulldogs, while conceding 30 odd points, and people were raving about them being a dark-horse and how Latrell is the games best player.

We should've beaten the Panthers in Penrith, and we torched the Dragons and Knights. The Dragons who have thumped the Bunnies, and beaten the Raiders and Manly. Everyone basically said those wins didn't mean anything.

Now we've essentially drubbed the Broncos with several players still out, and some are still saying it's a meaningless win.

Not to mention we've beaten the Cowboys and Sharks this year. Some people are pretty hard to please. We're going alright, as long as the injuries are somewhat kind and we keep improving bit by bit.

Think we’re reading too much into things. JWH and Rads are senior players and it’s their job to ensure the team is sticking to the game. And they way they did it is to be expected by Alpha males during a footy game.

In the heat of the moment they need to get their point across loudly and succinctly. In this woke-assed world do people really expect footy players to use ‘please’ and ‘thanks’ when trying to get things right. I don’t for one second believe that rads has an issue with Sammy and even if he does - big deal - not every player has to get on like a house on fire.

Sammy is smart enough to know it wasn’t personal, it’s part of being a younger team member who still has a lot to learn.

It is however a very good way to alienate staff and have them seek employment elsewhere.

on the field in front of the world/cameras and tell them...with anger on your face and hatred in your eyes:
"You're a f....... idiot".
"Open your f......
eyes".

Totally agree. Considering also that we are working on a long term contract for Sammy before 1st November and Joey said he wants to stay with us long term but only taken up one year of his player option.
Both will be superstars medium/long term and having both in our spine for the next ten years would be something that would make all other supporters hate us that little bit more.
Hopefully it hasn't put any negative thoughts in Sammy's head about extending with us.

I noticed on the last play of the game last week v manly, Sammy ends up near the sideline and Victor has a go at him from the bench. The game was over. It was very odd.
