I think the uniform answer is, first get rid of Anasta and Mini. Mini's turning into the Paul McCartney of football. Yes, he was in one of the greatest groups in football/music history and you were adored. But you've stayed around too long and any good will and respect you had from that time has been worn away by the embarrassments of the last few years.

Anasta's the Keith Relf of Football - damn fool enough to electrocute himself in the bath.

Throw Shreck in the deep end in first grade, back him even if he has 10 shockers in a row because he will come good.

For the love of Christ, put Pearce and Mortimer together in the halves.

I agree with most of that post John. We are the only team in the comp with ONE attacking option in Pearce and every team can see it. No surprise we, and Pearce, looked best in the trials and rnd 1 when we had an option.

Pearce, Anasta, Friend, Perret, Mini, FPN, Carney, Arona, Leilua. These players are all dead wood and need to be chopped from the club. Smith is a fruitloop and should go. We should give the coaching job to Taylor until Bellamy becomes available. We need to get Stewart to fb. We already have Maloney and SBW, so the team for next year is pretty settled. We should also look to buying a winger with potential and Everingham from Souths comes to mind. We have Moga and Tagive as well as Henry, Bosden, Mitchell, Guerra etc. We keep SKD, Cordner, Taikarangi, Tasi, JWH, Mose, Kennedy, Maubs and Mortimer as these players all have tremendous potential. The team as it is is a basket case and needs to cut it's losses, we also need a NEW board. ex players like Horrie, Ayliffe, Mcgahan, Tobin etc. We should also piss Newtown off and reinstate a bona fide Roosters reserve grade team. something drastic needs to be done. The performance today was gutless and made me ashamed to be a Roosters supporter.

I have to agree, those player mentioned above have not improved or been consistent players over the last couple of years.. Pearce I feel is being pushed to be Andrew Johns and is NOT a creative mind at all. I say he is a better 5/8 than half and would be effective there..
Brian Smith is not the coach for us, he dosnt believe in structure and will not change his style for anyone, thats why he only gets one year of value out of teams..

In case you haven't noticed Taka has very good game vision. In 10 minutes today he showed more 5/8th ability than BA has in least two years.

Stsae I'm deadly serious about getting rid of the players I mentioned. They are all rubbish and it's time the club cut their losses. Something drastic needs to be done to get our great club back on track or we risk falling into the category of an easybeat club. I wanted the club to get Inglis when he became available, I wanted the club to get Tony Williams when he became available and I was called a fool. We NEED some quality players because the players we have now are crap, I also realise that Smith is a mental case and shouldn't be coaching a park side let alone an NRL team so we desperately need a new coach as well. Until these things happen we'll continue to suffer.

I don't disagree with your sentiment, maybe some of the players your being harsh about, especially considering the coaching aspect, but in reality you are correct.

We have Baloney coming and by all reports Stewart and $BW. The club is obviously acting chasing available proven attacking options.

We must dispose of Bwaiff and Mini, if we don't we are well and truly farked. The coach I agree but a replacement is a toughie.

None of this can happen till seasons end at best. We just have to drink up this year and try to get some minor joy from the steamer we have produced so far.

It's not all bad, at least Bwaiff hasn't kicked out on the full as yet.
