Matt Lodge Appreciation Threat

I cant wait for the cheese to get his appreciation thread early next year.
his tackle busting ability adds another point of attack for the chooks down the middle with his running game out of dummy half.
No team will hold the chooks down the middle Lodge and Smith will turn the chooks into the best pack in the game

He tries to make a strong tackle and the ball runner lift the shoulder and puts a shot on, which he cops in the head. Nothing reckless about it from his end whatsoever.
And even if he was reckless, which he wasn't, it's a major preference to a player being very gun-shy in a must-win clash at the later part of the season.
Cords and Friend were special cases (with both having achieved everything and Cords having lost a close family member to a head know). Both were both approaching retirement anyway so woke up one day and said 'sod it'.

Appreciating Lodge doesn't need to come with denigrating Lindsay, who is an absolutely terrific prop. Coming back from an ACL he was always going to be not 100% this year, but was starting to show great form prior to his head knock.
The guy is off the back fence on literally every run. I'd suggest some people need to go and watch some of his games from early 2021 and 2020. Was averaging 140m last year and was terrorizing teams. I think the only big issue he has really had has been his hands, which seem to get a lot better when he's playing big minutes frequently.

Now with the upright tackling style they face the same risk of concussion - head clash with opposition player and their shoulder etc including friendly fire - head clash with team mate including their shoulder etc
So what is the solution ?
