Probably eels losing would be a better result for us as it looks tough for manly to make it.
Definitely want the panthers to beat the Raiders to give us a gap on them.

      Manly (20 - plus 8 F/A) run home is Eels/Titans/Sharks/Raiders/Bulldogs - 2 games they should win and 3 50-50 games

As others have said, definitely Manly. They still have the play the Sharks, Raiders and Bulldogs, and they'd just about need to win every game to overtake us, which they aren't going to do.
Them knocking the Eels down keeps us in the hunt for top 4, or even just a home semi from 5-6.

Also very much want the Panthers to win, which would make things a great deal more comfortable for us.
I actually tipped the Raiders, but I don't like them coming out and saying the Panthers are arrogant and that they're planning an ambush. That usually doesn't work out well, and I wouldn't be trying to fire up the Panthers side.

LOL not having a go at you here but this has to be the stupidest thing I’ve heard this week. Surely nobody would be so stupid in any field to alert another that you are planning to ambush them. My head is hurting such is the idiocy of this

Dogs are free-wheeling since Potter took the reins Salvo, I wouldn't write them off against manly and I think the sharks are a much better outfit.

You might've misunderstood my post, I think.
I agree with you, and this is exactly what the Raiders have done if you take a look at the article below:
              https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl...bfd43ffe327034.

I remember us saying that we were going to hammer Taumololo in 2017 in a preliminary final and he absolutely rolled us.
Plan an ambush by all means, but don't announce it to the opposition.
I'm pretty sure teams "plan" on ambushing the Panthers every week.

Most people know what you mean. Any team who doesn't plan on trying to ambush the opposition shouldn't be on the field anyway..

According to Nine, an unnamed senior Canberra staff member declared the club had been waiting for this match all season – and are out to ‘ambush’ a Panthers side they labelled ‘arrogant’.

“We don’t like their attitude – plain and simple,” the senior Raiders official said.

“We have been waiting for this game and are planning an ambush.

“They are arrogant and we aim to bring them down a few pegs.”

I believed you I’m laughing at the stupidity of coming out in public saying they are planning an ambush All teams are generally up for playing the current Premiers But to alert your opposition that you plan to ambush them is imbecilic

PS I knew there would be some who would completely got the wrong end of the stick and I don’t mean you.

Complete madness to alert them like that. A wise man I do business with would use the term Keep your counsel. As I said my head is hurting at the stupidity of if On another note this sun is really beating down on me here. What a day to be alive

Anyone give the warriors a chance against Souffs?

That would really make my weekend. But would be a massive upset.

They are not competing for eighty minutes Unless they do that then sadly it is a No If they do compete for 80 mins than they are a rough chance

Very Unlikely the Vermin will be beat by the Warriors especially with their run home to the finals after that game - Eels/Panthers/Cowboys/Roosters

I am wondering though if the Panthers and or Cowboys will rest some players in these last few rounds i.e round 24/25- hopefully not

i always go for the result that best suits the roosters but it's not clear cut tonight what that is. probably parra winning is safest - we're unlikely to make top 4 even if we overtake parra and it means one less team that can push us out of the 8

Can't see it happening player, Latrell terrorises lesser teams and Johnson will probably get a couple of free run tries to the line.
