We're doing just fine without him, and if we have people on the forum who can't quite move past him yet, we genuinely should just create a singular thread where all the Mitchell stuff can be dumped.

Mate the guy is from a Souths family. His dad played for them. He supported them growing up. I have no issues with him being more passionate about the club. imagine if you were good enough to play NRL and win a premiership… but you were playing for souths. Would you not feel a hell of a lot more excited about wining one for easts instead?

Comments like that make his leaving for the same length and value contract make sense. Just another healthy log to toss on the firing inferno that burns between our club and theirs.
