SQUAD v COWBOYS
Another test for us this week. There were plenty of people playing down our wins before last week, but now we've knocked off a higher ranked side and we get another chance this week to really make the rest of the competition stand up and take notice. I think the boys will be primed for a big effort.
The Cowboys have been playing some entertaining football, and will not be easy beats. The way they throw the footy around is a style that doesn't suit our defensive game. We'll need to maintain line speed and control their offloads. Like pretty much every game however, it's win the ruck and you'll win the game. Our pack should be able to dominate theirs if we play like we did last week, where Jazz & Lodge were really good in setting the tone early.
Team changes this week are limited to the return of Egan. SST & Collins still absent - how good will it be when we can add them to our pack? Verrills named but presumably still has to complete protocols. The long turn around may be in his favour.
