good team and should get the bickies. two things to improve from last week are not passing to the ground and fixing up the right edge defence and they're easy problems to fix

Fast starts are good but you need to maintain focus on all aspects of the game going forward after this as the better teams will weather the fast starts and minimise the damage scoreboard wise

The Roosters do go off the boil as they say after these fast starts and that's when the problems start - i.e incomplete sets/errors/missed tackles/ill discipline and the better teams will capitalise on these mistakes during those off the boil/down periods.

Week after week it has been mentioned post game that they need to complete sets/reduce errors and play an 80 minute game performance - they are yet to do so - if they want to play finals and be a serious contender then they need to start working harder towards this 80 minute game performance.

Further to a few other posters, I feel Watson has found his spot in the team and playing a role that is paying dividends. I see him as a third half or probing ball playing forward. He makes defences nervous and opens up our backs and Tedesco with his play.

Good squads for both teams, should be a cracker of a game.

Any mail on Cooper Johns? Good name and woulda grown up playing footy with his uncle. Hasn't set the world on fire though?
            Except it's:

            Meany
            Munster
            Johns
            Grant

John's playing footy with his uncle? I think you'll find his dad played a bit too.

Sorry not sure how to start a new thread but i cannot see anybody mention it's a milestone game this weekend. Teddy's 200th game.

Has he had a bad one ?

              Let's go chooks.

Really need to avoid the drop off after 20 minutes. (Some of that can be the attributed to the phantom six agains we concede according to what side of the scoreboard we're on). We had all the momentum against the broncos yet had to play on the backfoot for the next 20 and half time couldn't have come quicker.

Its the 80 minute performance we've been looking for all season. We've had about 60 at best.

Its a harder task against the cowboys, but 30 mins of good footy per half should see us through. Semis will be a different story altogether.

There’s only one team that plays well in ‘milestone’ games and it isn’t us. But yeah, you’re right, Teddy hasn’t ever had a bad one.

the first 6 or so of 2018 were not great, hence large mikes infamous post.

didnt he have a game esrlier this year where he had 3 or 4 errors , but overall an outstanding body of work, in terms of high level consistency .

Give us an 80 minute performance boys cmon we can really make a statement here with a win I feel our defence is better atm then theirs, they’re high on confidence atm playing some really enterprising footy, they have been notoriously slow starters the past month against soft opposition Tigers beat them everywhere but the scoreboard but we all know how that went.

Dearden is very dangerous, Drinkwater has been in outstanding form Nanai, Holmes, Robson they have weapons everywhere, we need to repeat our efforts last week with our line speed and dominant defence to suffocate them, limit the offloads, looking to Lodge and Jared to dominant the middle, Keary is looking like himself again Teddy, Manu and Suuali we have more firepower in the backs, please play smart footy boys go set for set we will grind them down.

We not only have to win, we have to start getting our defence in order. None of this winning 32-22 or 28-20 business. We have to keep them under 16. Preferably from here on, we concede an average of around 10-12 points a game. Until that happens, there's no comparison with 2018/19. -- and there'll certainly be no premiership.
