This is now a possible danger game for the Roosters. Cowboys will be riding high on emotion into the SCG on Saturday due to the sad news of Paul Green.

Teddy's 200th will now be slightly overshadowed.

Totally agree and they have danger all over the place - Holmes, Dearden, Nanai, Cotter, JT, Hess, Drinkwater has been in sublime form, BJ's little brother - they will be hard to beat they are in second for a reason.

In saying that I think we are coming real good just at the right time so I think we get them I hope from here one off night doesn't derail our season.

I agree but I will be very pleasantly surprised if Klein allows us to do this. Rather, I fancy cowboys will be repeatedly piggy backed out of their end if we try to dominate with our defence.

I know, I know, why do I even bother watching?

But think how heart warming the story will be! One for the Gipper!

Cowboys odds for this game have come in a lot since yesterday.

Also tipping a "repeated infringements" sin bin of one of our players after 3 set restarts on our tryline.

I hope that it's all just business for us and that we are able to focus on setting up a stable defensive platform for 80 minutes rather than getting carried away with the moment.

Regardless of the moment, getting too emotional is always our biggest enemy.

Cows are lucky to be 2nd and I reckon we have the coach + roster to put a cricket score on them. It's just a matter of focussing on the footy rather than who just died, or how many games of footy a bloke's played.

Yes it will be a difficult game to watch but don't forget Paul worked alongside Trent too so he'll be hurting badly, as will anyone else currently with our club who knew him very well also. I do hope everyone will enjoy the game tomorrow in the spirit of how it's meant to be.

Stay safe over the weekend and I hope everyone gets a chance to relax and unwind with loved ones, have a lovely meal or two and watch the game. Be kind to one another..happy 200th to Teddy also and thanks for the sheer entertainment you provide wearing our jersey.

seriously , blaming the refs already, stop watching the game mate, it is all a conspiracy against the chooks.

Certainly be hard to beat alright, yet I feel we are bringing it together, not too far off sudden death at the moment, reasonably calm and confident. May have timed our run nicely, maybe all the Way?

also the last time we played the cows they had 4 sent to the bin, i could imagine the whinging from some on here if that happened to the chooks.

999/1000 , when we lose , it isnt the fault of the refs , the bunker, the russians, nor the chinese .

more likely our handling was shit, we gave away ill disciplined penaties, or a million other reasons .

totally over this blaming the ref shit .
