Haw haw haw... funny. I shouldn't laugh but separately:

            > In late September, Finch joined the YKTR Sports organisation, run by former rugby league player Isaac John. On 30 September, Finch launched his podcast, Brett Finch Uncensored, with Brad Fittler featuring as his first guest.

A bit of irony there that his teo poddies were 'You Know The Rules' and 'Finch Uncensored'. (**** that Isaac John dude's cooked BTW - swear there's 100's of random ex-NRL players I'd never seen/heard of who've got their own branding/poddies).

Wonder where he's at these days. My understanding is that he received a 2 year, non-custodial sentence in November 2022 so that should be up by now. Would assume his career options are now limited as no mainstream media outlet's gonna touch him and nobody would wanna appear on his poddie. Any development roles involving minors would be off the cards too so.

Guessing he's either off dealing in drugs/child abuse material again or he's found a secluded place to live where nobody's heard of him and he doesn't need a lot of cash to survive.

            • Not a Rooster but Nathan Peats is in the Footy department where I work. (Seagulls RLFC).

Cool dude. I think Greg Bird has done some junior coaching for us as well.

              • I had private personal training sessions with Kevin Hastings in around 2019 I'd guess. We used to do the one hour session out the front of Redfern Oval. As ridiculously fit as he was Kevin had a mild heart attack either late 2019 or early 2020. He was all good but scaled back the training business.

Oh crazy... did not know that!

Wonder what happened to him? I saw some of his training sessions online and he looked like one of those fit, middle-aged dudes who's just gonna keep on going (and I suspect he had a decent diet too).

Best wishes to him. Dunno what went wrong with his son but it's a pity as it sorta takes away from his legacy IMO.

                    • Kerry Boustead.

Now a Sales Manager at All-Pro Chemical & Cleaning Supplies in QLD. Also, a board member at the Nth. Qld Cowboys.

What a brilliant player he was. And a very humble, down to earth person too. So sad when he joined Manly in 1983.

He was my fave until he joined Manly! I was a shattered 15 year old at the time.

I also like the fact he didn't rubbish the Roosters after he left for Manly like Noel Cleal did.Think it was interview he did with Tim Sheridan and he talks fondly of his time at the Roosters.

                                Gary's still local around Kingsford.
                                Bump into him quite often.
A top bloke, very down to earth.
                                Loves his Roosters.
