We have had many chats about his time at the Chooks
He worked at city Ford of course.

Can't believe how small he is. Still fit tho.
I still remember him driving a runaway Brian Johnson from Saints through the corner post in a very tight match at the Sports Ground, think it was 1982, Easts held on for a draw.

      • I saw Adam Keighran pop up on the NRL app today for some super league thing. Looks like he's 27 and still playing regular footy, which surprised me for some reason.

          Palm Beach eh?

          Too high rise for me!
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

I think there was a 10-10 draw a Kogarah in the 80s too. Barry Andrews was our kicker from memory. Maybe it was Ron Giteau, but whoever it was, cost us the game!

From memory that game Barry Andrews only missed one goal which was when Noel Cleal scored wide out. What really cost us that game was a horrible mix up between Ian Schubert and Kerry Boustead which gifted Steve Morris the easiest of tries.
