Building on the Slime Ankle thread, has anybody got some stories about where players are now?
Be good if (in particular) we could see some stories about characters / enigmas who've slipped into private lives that one isn't necessarily gonna be able to find by checking mainstream media articles.
I'll start with one. Forget the name but a dude who installed carpet at our house (massive Easts fan) said that an ex player's now working at Calvary Hospital in Canberra as one of those dudes who puts you on the bed and pushes you around the place. Somebody might know who I'm talking about there? Apparently he's a bit of a superstar around the hospital as lotsa fans spot him 1st thing when they wake-up in hospital and are like 'whaaa?!? I must be totally out of it...'
