Every year the salary cap gets dragged up for us where Buzz does his guesswork accounting.
Yes Buzz previously had a job as the accountant for HIH.

Ive said it a million times before....not one person outside of the club, the player, his manager and maybe close confisants have a clue what a player is earning and the composition of this salary! Where do they get the info from...do you think the people who know will tell journos?

Sure they might get a couple direct responses and true answers...but not many more!

The NRL don't release the figures for each player either. Thye may release a blanket figure for 3rd party payments if anything.

If journos ask agents/managers, they will always inflate the figure of thir client!

If they ask a club who didn't secure a player, the club will always say they offered ex amount but it wasn't enough! (eg: Souths with Angus)

These lists are rubbish and pure speculation made for simpletons at the pub who have never had a profound or deep thought in their entire life!

Angus on $700k is almost criminal. How does that fella sleep at night?

All the media just further click bait. Buzz thinks he got a scoop via Nick. Yeah right there is no way in the world Nick would show his hand to a tabloid journo but more the case of letting him think he got something. Nice manoeuvre Nick.

The one thing he never mentions is we have Ian Schubert handling our cap, and he was previously employed by the NRL as a cap auditor, so he knows the ins and outs and loopholes we can utilise to maximise the $value of our cap.
The dribble by Buzz last night reminded me a fish out of water flipping around gasping for something.
