Another good but not amazing performance from us, which shows that we are building again at the right time. Great defence in the middle for the majority of the 1st half, our forwards were excellent. We won without Teddy, Sammy or Kez having outstanding games, which is a scary prospect for other teams.

Got to be pretty proud of that dig. Appropriate the front row all got tries, they were outstanding . Special mention to Vic, he is a must to stay healthy and on the paddock if we are to go deep into the finals. Both wingers great too.
Two tackles by Verrils were crucial in stemming the close finish....shorts on Drinkwater( think it was Vez) and grass cutter on Hess. Both saved almost certain tries.
We had a definite game plan to minimise their strengths. Hope we see a little more variation on our last play than just the Sammy W high kick for territory. It worked today. TIT.#We Stand with ourJewish community#

That was a very good performance, when they scored and made it 10-6 we scored minutes later to make it 14-6, when they scored to make it 20-12 we scored minutes later to make it 26-12. That’s a good sign of a side who is capable to turn it up a gear when they need to and manage the game.
Our defensive pressure over the past month of footy has been ridiculously good, constantly limiting the Cowboys to having to kick from within their own 40 multiple times throughout the game.
Last thing that really impressed me out of today was with the Cowboys up and in defence we adjusted our game plan and just scored a bunch of tries through the middle. Very evident Klein wasn’t going to rule an offside penalty today so we just adjusted and that shows a real good maturity from the team.

I’m beginning to wonder. I think Robbo has been very sneaky resting players much longer under the guise of ‘injuries’ and now we are playing like champions. JWH, Keary and Collins as well as SST hopefully will just be available when the finals start! Is that a good coincidence or brilliant timing by Robbo? If you look at teams that peaked early, they are struggling now.“Soon will the present day order be rolled up, and a new one spread out in its stead”- (Baha’u’llah)

We’re looking good. What a great win. I did see big Jared signal to the trainer after playing the ball and he came off straight away. I hope it wasn’t his hammy. It was after a cowboys player pulled at his leg in the tackle. Maybe it was just a precaution as he felt a twinge or something.
