We've got a peak performance coming soon, could be today.

Reckon Sam Vez will want to smash the rest of this season and show us what we will be missing. The incoming bloke made his own statement on Thursday night.

    Easts by 14.

P.S. another great starter thread 13.
Well tabbed Jack...if I do say so myself

right before the momo strip win he yelled out and grimaced. 2 tackles later traîner came up to him and pulled him off the field. Something happened to him… hopefully nothing serious

      • We definitley weren’t as powerful once Jared and lodge came up but it’s exciting to know that Tauks and Collins could be coming off the bench soon

        • Maybe too much to ask for the Dragons/Knights and Titans to win this weekend but it would be handy some results going the Roosters way - No resting of players though vs Tigers and need to keep on improving towards the 80 minute performance.

          • Good game by us, but that last try we conceded was awful. Not too fussed about it though, as the game was already in the bag 10 mins earlier

            • Was interesting watching Walker's game today very disciplined and structured without the usual flashy touches from him, I hope that incident with JWH/Radley doesn't rob him of the confidence to attack the game when required.

              • I had Mickie Lane next to me all game singing GLORY GLORY to The Roosters. Drove me nuts! He told me he was wearing Souths undies.

Think it’s more of a reflection of him trying to play as the halfback than comments made by JWH/Radley. He’s got to be thinking about last tackle, where to position himself, what part of the field he wants to kick from and where he wants the play the ball for 5th tackle. Very different to just reacting and playing off the cuff. There’s no doubt playing halfback is going to stifle his creativity.

In saying that though it wasn’t the type of game where Keary or Walker were going to excel in. Very middle third dominant based on the way the Cobowys defence. Thought Verrills was the stand out today.

                    Happy for him
Do you always judge a player’s performance simply on how many tries he scores?

                    Teddy was terrible today.

Yeh it’s an interesting one as Egan Butcher and Watson have been a huge part of our last 5 wins but not as effective today. It’s going to be interesting to see if we get a full 17 who misses out on the bench.

Huthcinson seems like the obvious option but we don’t have a lot of in game 3/4 options if a half or outside back went down.

He has been playing HB for a couple of weeks now and it hasn't throttled his adventurous side until today.

Or a "jack in a rabbit" as per Ben Elias on NRL360 last week.

I thought Walker was a bit quiet, yet over at leagueunlimited.com they gave him man of the match.

                            • Terrific performance we really dominated the start of the match and were too physical for the Cowboys.
Loving the work of Lodge in the middle and his defence has been outstanding. He seems to have given JWH a new lease and the pair are getting us rolling and intimidating the opposition.
Suaalii continues to impress and is living up to the high expectations placed on him. He is a freak of an athlete and he is a must keep.
We're coming home with a wet sail and it's going to take a good team to beat us.

He’s touching the ball less times and in positions non conducive to him being able to show his adventurous side.

He might not be less adventurous but the role he’s play is meaning we are seeing less of it.
