Yeh that’s nonsense to say he was the best player on the field.

JWH, Lodge, Verrills, Radley, Suaali or Crichton I could at least see arguments being made for but Walker is a very strange one…

Was interesting watching Walker's game today very disciplined and structured without the usual flashy touches from him, I hope that incident with JWH/Radley doesn't rob him of the confidence to attack the game when required.

I noticed in the first half when we were inside the Cowboys 20 and couldn’t get over the line after continual pressure Walker barely touched the ball, set after set and he was barely involved.

Maybe it was a plan to continually go through Keary in the attacking zone..

Strong win. Good times.

Gotta fix up that 20-40mins cause we seem to get shaky there each week. Our rotation with Collins and TKO back should help. Us, Sharks, Bunnies all suddenly look like form teams coming into finals.

The Roosters had to win tonight & they did it. Well done.
Watched tonight live with a crew of Roosters supporters, Thirteeen & the boys , it was unreal.
So good to see he Chooks play a quality opposition & beat them & they beat them easily I thought.
After last week I said the Broncos cant win the comp & after tonight neither can the Cowboys.
Suaalii is a special player as we all know, he is in the Latrell, Folau, Inglis mould. What a tough farker he is. Man I love him.
Talking tough, rough, down & dirty how good are JHW, Rads & Lodge. Isnt that 5 wins in a row for Lodge at the Chooks? I love that engine room plus SST & Collins. How good.
Crighton & N Butcher played better than the Cowboys backrowers that have been talked up plenty.
Sammy V, Teddy, Manu & Momo all played good but the Roosters halves now playing in their proper positions are a dangerous side that can beat any team but even though we all all hate Souths they are in the same boat.
The Roosters & Souths are the teams that have the rest of the 8 looking over their shoulders.
At this point IMO only Penrith, Melbouene, Souths & the Roosters can win it.
Week at time the Chooks have to beat the Tigers. I know we all think its a give me but its so important that they win. The Chooks are on a role & if they continue to take each game at a time & win over the next 3 weeks then the Roosters will be contenders. Win the next 3 we are contenders, lose any of them & we are pretenders.

These are the games that the Roosters can struggle with i.e the games they should win - need to respect the opponent as the Tigers can play decent footy. Certainly not a game to rest players from or undo all the good work from the previous 5 weeks by putting in a sub standard performance as a result of being complacent.
