After saying big clubs get all the calls after we last played time and being gifted 2 points only a fortnight ago by the NRL you think there’d be a little more self-awareness.

“We start the 2nd half strong, score a try again then a couple of calls go against us and they’re able to capitalise off that.”

My God you talk some shit Rooster 6. In no way did Payten "Blame the Refs" I watched the press conference. They did have a few calls go against them, but he was at pains to point out they were outplayed and the calls in no way cost them the game. I'm not sure what's wrong with you.

There was a lot of finger pointing going on in that press conference and the refs copped their fair share.

Yeh why I was confused by Payten seriously starting to list issues he had in the game and how hard it was for his poor team to overcome these issues against a top side.

I understand him having something to say on the Verrills try off the scrum, I think that’s a controversial decision worth discussing but the rest were just rubbish and given what else went on in the game he really didn’t need to be discussing.

Blatant flops, ruck interference and offsides all game that Klein just let roll so I thought Payten would have no qualms but shouldn’t be surprised. Game was pretty much exclusively played outside our 40m line for the whole first half and we didn’t get one set restart.

I’m debating the individual calls because you seem to think he had a point.

I also quoted him saying that’s not why we lost the game but in the same sentence he goes on to say these are calls you can’t, it’s very hard to recover from.

So which one is it, you can’t recover from them or they didn’t play any part? You can see all the media training start to crack as he catches himself.
