The guy is only 19 & my suggestion is only for this year, bit more Newtown put on 5kg & get a bit bigger & stronger play some FG because others are injured & hopefully have him tough ready for FG next year.

For those saying that he isn't ready, who are we going to replace him with? All these young guys have a good game when we want them in there until he has a bad game when we then don't want him in there. It's a sign of immaturity that they can't be consistent but replacing him is not an option when we're the youngest team in the comp, well as far as forwards go. I say he is good and backs himself to try something new, like a grubber kick yesterday and in the 1st game.
I would say the one disappointing player upto now, for me, is BJ Leilua. Not sure where he's head is ATM.
Good post
I hear the Dragons and Tigers are after BJ....I think he has what it takes to be an awesome centre but we cant seem to get him to play, switching him from centre to wing to newtown doesnt help.
I like him at centre with SKD now we just need two big express wingers." A man can only walk as far as he can see"

Have to agree on the call about him getting stronger though, he's a bit of a powderpuff." A man can only walk as far as he can see"

Cordner is not ready to play as a starting backrower, he actually needs more time at Newtown.
And I highly rate him.
SKD is great at creating overlaps. Too bad it is for the other team.

I'm sure there are others that shouldn't be there but like I say, we don't have the Myles, Soliola or any other older players to come in and take charge. unfortunately we'll have to stay patient even with the refs against us. As I said a few weeks ago, if we can survive till after the SOO with this team and scramble some points, we should be having some young guys with experience to take us into the finals and hopefully stagger into the 8. If we give up on them now, then we wont have an experienced team come round 26.
It's all about this squad taking the knocks, getting the experience and jagging the wins as we can.

He makes players around him nervous because they know he is in three minds.

Would be nice if he had a fast winger outside him also and a quick smart talented FB chiming in around him.

You know it makes sense.
