Far be it from me to endorse such bad language (I mean the Souths bit), if you had T-shirts with that printed up, you'd make a fortune..and that's just in my apartment block..

I’m still one game at a time brother, I’m just saying for the Chooks to win the comp it’s gonna have to be 12 in a row no losses.
Isn't it the case that Easts can still finish in the top 4? If so, then we'd probably be able to drop the first semi and have another bite at the cherry.
But I'm not getting that far ahead of myself. We need to put 50 points on the Tigers first.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.
Latrell ominous the other night. His mere looming presence puts opposing outside backs into a state of near paralysis. Did I read a report that he is relishing the thought of the Roosters game?

No, you read a report from his dietician that said he likes to eat all his Maccas hamburgers with pickle relish.

Well Waverley Council did give me a small business award back in 2008 and some of the Easts guys were there to cheer me on..and quite a few lovely people from this forum would could come and spend money in my shop which I will never forget and always be grateful for..but I do draw the line at vulgar language......that S word is not nice.....I'll be hiding behind my cushions or go to bed early with the covers over my head in the last round..I just can't watch us play them live..

After I left you yesterday my 2 nephews & I were exiting the stadium when these twin babes around 25 were walking towards us 1 had the Roosters jumper on & 1 had the Souths jumper on.
The ultimate fantasy. lol
Just to add some warming news to this thread, I had a chat with a Roosters staffer yesterday at the game. I asked how are you going sign lodge for next year ( in jest ), he replied, Lodge wants to stay and will take a huge pay cut ..
Yes, i was a good day
That's massive news as I thought he would be a certainty to just have a cameo end of season stint with us and head off to the Dolphins next year.
I still think we can drop one game and make the 8 but we are going to need to beat one of the storm or bunnies to make it.

Maybe living Bondi way is more of a carrot than living in Redcliffe.

The top 3 is sowed up - places 4 to 8 to be determined - Roosters can finish on 32 if they win all their remaining games but would need a few results to go their way to be any chance of finishing 4th - more likely a 5 to 8 place finish
Teams competing for 4th place are also playing each other so obviously 1 of them will get the two points i.e Storm play Bronco/Eels - Eels play Broncos and Storm - Broncos play Storm and Eels in 2 of their last 3 games - Souths play Penrith and Cowboys who have sown up a top 4 spot.
Current comp points on left and projected comp points on right based on games they should won and others 50-50 games
Round 23 games
Storm vs Broncos
Souths vs Penrith
Eels vs Bulldogs
Roosters vs Tigers
Raiders vs Knights
Sea Eagles vs Sharks
Dragons vs Titans
Cowboys vs Warriors
