I don't get the " play in a Rugby World Cup" as a reason for a league player to switch. I don't see it as a career highlight to get spat out in a quarter final and the Wallabies are next to no chance of winning it anytime soon.
Any composite all time great Wallaby team would feature players from the 80s to the early 00s and the best athletes in this country are playing cricket,afl and league.
The ones who have played both rugby codes only went on scholarships and have been league players since they were young.
Even SBW who made the switch and got to win world cups with the All Blacks in my mind was a far greater league player than he was a rugby player.

Anyone else get the feeling Suaalii really wants to keep his options open next few years, and is nowhere near committed to easts long term? Couple of quotes from him last few weeks which makes me think he'll go down the RTS path
