There's probably more Newtown Jets fans than Souths fans around that area too, I've got family in Marrickville that I visit and you'll see plenty of Newtown hats with the odd retro jersey or Tommy t-shirt but you don't see as much red & green as the channel 9 propaganda will have you believe

So when you say visit does that involve going though security

Something funny about the fact we are the true tenants of the new stadium and Souffs play out of ANZ.

I'm just not clever enough to come up with a slogan.
It would surely piss them off
        simple,,

        SOUFFS YOU HOMELESS BUMS or

        SOUFFS = TOOTHLESS & HOMELESS

Is this a Long Bay joke because that's in Malabar not Marrickville

They should not get any dispensation or any reasonable treatment here. This is our home and ours only. I cannot wait for that night. What a night it will be. Stuff the rabble!
            MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

the souths blokes at work have been carrying on like this is their stadium for a very long time. All year basically.

In actual interesting news - i've had a surprising number of rival fan mates and acquaintances around the traps quietly comment out of the blue that Easts are gonna win it.

It's disgraceful they think they have any claim to that stadium.

Imagine if we pitched our tent on Redfern Oval?

We wouldn’t be that stupid. There’s no vaccine yet to protect against whatever you would catch there.

I don't have that problem as I work in a heavily scrutinised industry and we have to undergo stringent background checks before we can even get an interview.

Paul Kent had an interesting take on this.
He reckons the scum are carrying on like this to get a better deal where they're at now.
After all , they said most their supporters live out west.

That's been my thinking all along Eddie, they are trying to cut a better deal at Homebush.
