I thought I just made it clear my objection to creating a seperate sub-forum, when we have in the past they haven’t been used and as a community the users on here have made it clear through posting habits that they would much rather have all Roosters content in one location on the forum.

I have skipped over yours and Thirteen’s opinions, they are repetitive, antagonistic and lack balance. We are all bigoted in some form on some topic, don’t be so ignorant to believe you are immune, plenty have already called you out for it.

You missed the point though. Why should it be in this section getting tangled up with the other posts? If its sooooo popular, surely it deserves more respect than that and could stand on its own merits in its very own section? I don’t think the “community” as you put it would miss it here? They would just flock there considering its enormous popularity right?

The Under20’s comp was very popular on here yet the majority of discussions were held in the main Roosters forum, as I’ve already said based on posting behaviour the members on here just seem to prefer all content in one location. I may be wrong on this but that’s just what the forum has shown over time.

If I misinterpreted your point one, my bad but if you are going to say that, there are a LOT of non Rooster related threads in the main section. If you are serious about point one, why are they there? Is the site under moderated or is the argument simply to try to disprove these points?

People do like to discuss Roosters stuff in the main section. Got that but the site was set up to discuss Roosters stuff ‘before’ the introduction of the womens game and as such wasn’t catering to that content. Maybe it should be overhauled to structure it accordingly?

Under-moderated feels like a term that would be subjective.

I would say there is a low level of interference from moderators/admins compared to your average forum and that the forum is largely self-moderated by the users.

If Chris deems that to be the case then that’s up to him. But from what I’ve seen most don’t have an issue with the Women’s Roosters content being posted in the Roosters rugby league discussion area. It’s a minority who seem to have other issues with women’s movements and sport that don’t want it in the Roosters sub-forum.

I’m no bigot R6. I just don’t want to see women involved in anything physically violent. I have no problem seeing men bash each other but I feel differently about women. I enjoy watching women’s cricket and tennis and I’ll even watch netball. No need to call me names cause I don’t want to see women getting bashed.

RT, I just don’t understand why you can’t just ignore the thread if you’re not interested? When I see a topic header that’s Rooster related but looks like I won’t find it interesting, I just don’t go in there. Or I check it out at the start, then make a decision whether it’s for me or not and if not, don’t open it again. Does it really cause you that much hurt seeing it in the main section as opposed to its own sub-section?

Yes just like my RIP Judith Durham thread which had barely any posts about the lady herself or her musical achievements. I see it's resurfaced today but because I have a few on ignore now I doubt very much if they are posting songs from her back catalogue or sharing memories of her music 2 weeks later. It's the same little clique that go around derailing perfectly good threads. They sit here for hours on end looking to see who they can try and needle next.
